So for the past few weeks/months we have seen a huge push for Gunner, whats your thoughts on him and the push he is receiving? For me personally i'm just not a fan of the guy there's something about him maybe its his back tattoos or how cheesy his modern day viking comes of to me i'm sure but there's something about the guy that I am just not a fan of. On a side note it looks like he dyes his beard to that color black LOL its just odd looking.
Whats your thoughts on Gunner?

Honestly haven't paid much attention to him, can't say I'm that into him.
Only thing I remember about him is when he goes on a rant towards fans who bash the product or have a negative opinion on something only to delete said rant because it was idiotic.

he's been terrible from the get-go, but there's no denying he's gotten somewhat better. that still doesn't take away from his goofy demeanor, corny acting skills, and barely passable ring skills. not a fan and them trying to put him over by teaming with legit wrestlers isn't going to work.

He was awful at first but he's improved and gained a lot of muscle mass as well. I tolerate him. I'm just glad TNA is TRYING to build new stars.

I honestly do not understand his character. Modern day viking. How is he a modern day viking? Because he likes to fight? That alone doesn't make someone a modern day viking. I was surprised when he got the Heavyweight Title briefcase. I don't think he has enough build up for the title so we'll see how it all plays out.

I watch TNA off and on when I have time on Thursdays, so admittedly I haven't seen everything of him, but I have yet to be impressed by him in anyway whether it be in the ring or on the mic. I HATED him during his first run and think he's definitely improved, but he's still kind of just "there" to me.

I'm just not a fan of the guy, but he has improved from when he first started. I just don't see him being a future star in TNa or wrestling in general.

I've been liking him the past few weeks. Doesn't mean I want him to win the World Title at Genesis or anything. It changed for me after he found out he won the World Title briefcase and how he rubbed it in James' face.

There's Nothing Special About him at all,His wrestling is bland his Mic skills are bland. He needs some sort a look or character that makes him stand out and his Name "Gunner" is terrible.

I like him, mainly because he looks the part. But I agree, he doesn't have many good qualities that you look for, mainly charisma and mic skills.
I like the fact he has improved, he has a good look with the logos and trunks, the tats are badass and he has a few interesting moves. Strip that down and he's dull. I'd like for him to improve on the mic, and then he'll be up to scratch.
I do like the name Gunner though, can't see why people bash it. It fits with him serving in the armed forces as a gunner, plus he has bullet holes and assault rifle logos, so it fits him. The modern-day Viking nickname is cool, but I'd like for them to develop it more, possibly as a gimmick (but not a literal Viking).

I don't have a problem with Gunner, but I would have given him a more unique look and a far better name. I would have made him a modern day (Flock version) Perry Saturn. Made him a scary character to go with his intimidating looking face. What I don't get why is Gunner a face, while James Storm is hinting at turning heel? I still feel TNA has never fully utilized Storm since the split with Bobby Roode.

Not the best, but certainly not the worst (see Rob Terry), but his current spot is a good one for him. I'm buying his push more than I'm buying Magnus, but that makes sense considering they're pushing him as the world champ.

-- Sometimes you push guys further up the chain more so than others, that's the nature of the business. I honestly don't mind him. I'm a bit confused on why he's still a face, after the heelish tactic to win the briefcase, turning on his partner Storm like that - yet, Storm's the bad guy?... That I don't understand.
But that's booking's fault (again)... not Gunner's.
Personally, he needs to turn up the notch on his intensity level. If he gets clotheslined or hiptossed during his shine in the match, no sell'em by getting back on his feet right away (IE Japanese characteristic). He's been bashing his own head in the turnbuckles.. pull a Sting: anytime he gets chopped, not only no sell it, but start Hulking up before coming back on his opponent. --- Just little things like that, will go a long way, in my eyes, and I know the fans will eventually play into that psychology.

He ing sucks. Haven't liked him from day one. I respect TNA for atleast trying to build up some new stars, but Gunner is the wrong person to be pushing. Also, the fact that he's still face, despite being the one who stabbed Storm in the back, makes zero ing sense.
