| Justin Tyger Announces Formation Of New American Promotion. | - On January 4th, wrestling veteran and promoter Justin Tyger announced he would be forming a new promotion, though this time it will be Stateside.
Tyger previously founded Pro Wrestling GEN and GATTACA: PROJECT, both of which were based in Japan. His new "PROJECT", a sister promotion to GATTACA, will be named BLAZE: PROJECT and will be based in the southern region of the United States.
"It feels like time to start something new," Tyger said. "GATTACA faltered and I was previously released from Pro Wrestling NOAH, so I'm back in the States and I'm ready to start a new promotion here. I spent 20 years in Japan, these past two years have really been the first time I've lived in America for an extended period of time. There are a lot of differences between how things are done there and how they are done here, and I feel it will be a challenge to make the transition, but it's a challenge I'm ready to take on and overcome."
Tyger spoke about the differences he feels that there will be, and clarified that while BLAZE is a sister promotion to GATTACA, it will not be the same.
"There will be a lot of changes. We're going to see a handful of the same faces, but there will be a lot of new guys that will be coming in, and there will be changes to how things are done to adjust to the differences between the Japanese audience and the American audience, so while they're sister promotions of sorts, they're going to be two different animals."
Tyger also stated that while he is the founder and owner of BLAZE: PROJECT, he will not serve as the acting president of the promotion. While he did not state who that president will be, he said that the person is highly qualified to lead the promotion.
"I don't want to be the one in full control. While I will obviously have my say being the owner, as a wrestler I prefer another unbiased person conduct the day to day business inside of the promotion. I'm not going to reveal who that person is right now, but he is someone that has a lot of experience being a leader of a lot of people and I feel he will do a good job and make effective decisions when I don't feel it's my place to step in."
In the final part of the announcement, Tyger set a loose timetable on the start of the promotion.
"I don't have an exact stating date as of now, but in the coming days we will reveal who the president of BLAZE: PROJECT will be, and we will be revealing the roster soon. We currently have 25 men and women, including myself, that have signed on to wrestle with us, and we are excited to announce them all to you, as I feel like we have built a great roster here. After we finalize those details, we will begin to seek an arena and date for the first show, and when both are confirmed we will let you know as soon as we can." |

Very interesting stuff KvE. Nicley writ too. The roster sounds the right size but I wonder whether your going full sign up or mixed with real wrestlers. I'm guessing to have 25 people from the start you did the later. That is unless you cherrypicked who you wanted sign up wise. I'm looking forward to it. Good luck.

| Mayor Adam West Revealed As President Of BLAZE: PROJECT. | - It was announced on January 8th that Mayor Adam West will serve as the president of BLAZE: Project.
“This is a very exciting opportunity for me,” President Mayor Adam West said when the statement was made. “While I’ve never served in the office of a wrestling organization, I feel that my experience being the Mayor of Quahog and leading it's great citizens has prepared me enough to take the position.”
When asked about how he obtained the position, President Mayor West said it was founder Justin Tyger’s doing.
“He reached out to me when he was thinking about forming BLAZE: PROJECT. I was hesitant at first to take such a job, but Tyger slowly convinced me that I can take the position of President and be successful at it. He’s put a lot of faith in me, and I hope that I can deliver to him.”
Finally, President Mayor West reaffirmed an earlier statement made by Tyger about the roster of the new promotion.
“Tyger has built a great roster for this organization, and now that we have made the announcement that I am President, we will soon begin the process of releasing the names associated to BLAZE: PRO, and we think you will be impressed with the wrestlers that we will be presenting you. Also, we will announce to you soon the commentators that will serve as the voices of BLAZE: PRO after we reveal the entire roster.”
“Tyger and I are very excited to bring BLAZE: PROJECT to you, and we hope that all of you enjoy.” |

| BLAZE: PRO Roster Revealed. | - During a press conference earlier today, BLAZE: PROJECT Founder Justin Tyger and BLAZE: PRO President Mayor Adam West revealed the full roster for their upcoming company. The roster features a list of huge names, and is a major example of the potential future of the company. “We are really proud of the roster that we have put together here,” Tyger said. “There are some familiar faces that have been with us from GEN and GATTACA: PRO, and some new faces for us that we are really excited about.”
President Mayor Adam West reaffirmed Tyger’s statement, adding, “I think this is such a fantastic list of guys and girls that will be wrestling for us. I think that if you look at the names that we have signed, it’s impossible not to be excited for this company going forward. There’s so much potential with these wrestlers, and I know that me, Tyger, and the wrestlers themselves will deliver for our fans.”
At the end of the press conference, Tyger teased huge news that will be announced soon. “Here soon, we will announce the names that will serve on our commentary and interview team, and I’ve gotta say, I’m extremely excited to reveal the names to you. We have such a huge signing that I know the fans will love. I can’t wait to reveal the news to everyone.” |

Great to see this back KvE. I always love your diaries. The roster seems abit odd, esp given that most of them are under WWE/TNA contract. I'd usually expect some kinda backstory or reason why but since it's you I'll let it slide. I see this will be more like your NXT than GATTACA. Great to see Bock and Drag there, maybe over time you can add other guys who reply. Looking forward to the next announcement, I'm sure after major West it's going to be a bit wacky.

| BLAZE: PRO Commentary Team Announced; Jim Ross Signs With BLAZE! | - BLAZE: PROJECT Founder Justin Tyger broke huge news earlier today in a press conference, announcing that the legendary Jim Ross would lead the commentary team for his new promotion.
"I'm extremely excited and honored that we were able to sign such a legend in Jim Ross to be the voice of BLAZE: PROJECT," Tyger said smiling. "This is incredibly huge for our company, and will bring a new level of legitimacy to our name to the fans and the people in the business. I'm very excited and grateful."
Jim Ross will be joined by Byron Saxton at the commentary table, while Renee Young will be the one behind the microphone to interview the wrestlers of BLAZE.
"I think we have pulled together a fantastic trio to be the voices of BLAZE," Tyger said concluding the conference. "I know these three will do amazing things for us." |

Getting Jim Ross is fantastic. The only thing I like more than that, is Renee Young <3

Damn, graphics looking good KvE. Also noticed each video link has been made by you, that's great. I'm usually not a fan of crowning a champ straight away but it seems to work here. Some good match-ups, obviously the big one will be Bock/Tyger, Henry/Big E also looks good, although Henry is a bit of an odd name in this. Hopefully Dragon can advance too. Keep this up.
