I saw this idea from someone on another forum, and thought the WFIGS Universe would love it.
The 30 Years of WrestleMania – 30 Man Battle Royal. His idea is to feature a Legend / SuperStar who has participated at every WrestleMania. “Not only would it be great to see legends at Mania but talent on the current roster could get on the card who may not have got a spot on the card.” I took it in a different direction, and just made it a Dream match to include those who are no longer with us on Earth, or those who are currently banned from the WWE in some form or fashion.
Here’s my list:
1. Hulk Hogan 2. Rowdy Roddy Piper 3. Paul Orndorff 4. King Kong Bundy 5. Andre The Giant 6. Macho Man Randy Savage 7. The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase 8. Ultimate Warrior 9. Sgt. Slaughter 10. Ric Flair 11. Sycho Sid Justice 12. Yokozuna 13. Bret The Hitman Hart 14. Bam Bam Bigelow 15. Shawn Michaels 16. The Undertaker 17. Stone Cold Steve Austin 18. The Rock 19. Triple H 20. Big Show 21. Mick Foley 22. Chris Jericho 23. Kurt Angle 24. Brock Lesnar 25. Chris Benoit 26. Batista 27. John Cena 28. Edge 29. Randy Orton 30. The Miz
I didn’t include Mr. T. and Lawrence Taylor, but they should at the very least make an appearance during the match as special guest outside enforcers.
Who are your picks for” The 30 Years of WrestleMania – 30 Man Battle Royal”??

Just turn it into another "Gimmick" Battle Royal and I'm set. You could get Piper & Hogan in....maybe Foley, Jake...a bunch of surprises.

I thought about this yesterday on my way home from work. They're gonna have to include some crap like Val Venis (Even though I love him! He's kinda ehh) and such to fill 30 spots.

I'm up for a challenge. Twenty nine wrestlers, one from each Mania, using only guys who are still mobile enough to take a bump over the top rope and on good terms with WWE. More or less a gimmick battle royal by circumstance:
Wrestlemania I: Tito Santana Wrestlemania II: Brutus Beefcake Wrestlemania III: Honky Tonk Man Wrestlemania IV: Demolition Ax Wrestlemania V: Demolition Smash Wrestlemania VI: Hacksaw Jim Duggan Wrestlemania VII: Virgil Wrestlemania VIII: Skinner Wrestlemania IX: Bob Backlund Wrestlemania X: Doink the Clown Wrestlemania XI: Bart Gunn Wrestlemania XII: Vader Wrestlemania XIII: Headbanger Mosh Wrestlemania XIV: Road Dogg Wrestlemania XV: Billy Gunn Wrestlemania XVI: Headbanger Thrasher Wrestlemania X7: Faarooq Wrestlemania X8: William Regal Wrestlemania 19: Booker T Wrestlemania 20: Scotty 2 Hotty Wrestlemania 21: John Bradshaw Layfield Wrestlemania 22: The Boogeyman Wrestlemania 23: Great Khali Wrestlemania 24: Finlay Wrestlemania 25: Santina Marella Wrestlemania 26: Ted DiBiase Jr. Wrestlemania 27: Michael Cole (almost immediately pitched. would make for a good opening spot) Wrestlemania 28: David Otunga Wrestlemania 29: Fandango
12 was VERY hard. Vader and Goldust were the only two choices basically and Goldust will presumably be booked in an actual match. Likewise with 19, pretty much everyone on that card was a big deal or can't wrestle any more.
Tito goes over, last eliminating Santina. Final four are Fandango, Santina, Tito, & Backlund. The angle going in can be Fandango's Wrestlemania storyline, that he's going to "dance all over these old timers" with him taking matches on Raw each week against various guys not listed here, or other guys in the battle royal.

I like that idea. WrestleMania has been lacking fun gimmick matches these last few years.

Yeah, then after the show he can find you in the parking lot and bully you into giving him $90 for his worthless autograph.

Slaughter for 7, but Sarge is always around whenever they do a legends thing. Virgil may get a pop as "LOL, I REMEMBER VIRGIL!". But if it offends, throw Sarge in. He can dump one of The Headbangers before being eliminated by Road Dogg, with a crotch chop on his way over.

I wouldn't be opposed to Virgil coming back around, but I think him showing up with Ted DiBiase would be much cooler especially since he hasn't been back to the WWE in years. But if I had to pick a guy from Mania 7 that might still be able to take an over the top rope bump, I'd go with either The Mountie (with Jimmy Hart) or Jake "The Snake" Roberts, he's a tough old bastard that I'm sure will live to see another day after taking that bump.

Jacques Rougeau isn't in good condition at all any more.
