It's 2014 why are you so hung up on the title?
Beating HHH at Mania > Winning the title there.
You could win the title anytime, guys never beat HHH.
Beating HHH is infinitely more important then the title.

And again who Gives a about being over if it doesn't translate to money? What fan in the crowd is thinking "I was going to cheer for this guy but he doesn't make the company a lot of money so forget it"? And they use Bryan for advertising, he's getting them media attention and he gets gigantic pops. He's over.

lol Then, presumably, his fans are happy that he gets his big win. Or they keep crying because they can't enjoy anything and are determined to be upset with anything less than a fifteen-year title reign.

Laugh all you want but you are a smark and IWC guy like all of us no matter how hard you want to distance yourself from those terms. Big wins mean nothing if they don't do anything with it. If he wins, great. But if he were to lose it the next night then that moment meant absolutely nothing.

The backlash to HHH winning the title would be worse then Bryan the last six months.

If it ends up being HHH vs Bryan at WM with Bryan going over--then I can live with all this, but if it ends up just being against Kane it's going to be severely disappointing. If they shoehorn him into the championship match and he wins great, but if they do it an he loses then it's kinda all for naught and he may as well have that HHH match or whatever.

The term I can distance myself from is butthurt, and that's why I laugh. How long does he have to hold it before you won't cry when he loses it?

You've never been upset with something they did? Or are you too cool to do something like that? Ideally he could hold it until SummerSlam, maybe longer. If they build it right (which they are seemingly incapable of doing) then it could just be a few months. It also depends on who they have him lose it to.

I won't cry after 7 years of him as champion.

In no way shape or form did I think for half a second that Bryan was walking out the Champion tonight. I've long since accepted the fact that this company is either A) stupid B) doesn't give a flying what their adult/matured fanbase wants (and even that's a stretch because plenty of kids love Bryan too) or C) the smartest company ever This entire Bryan saga is either a gigantic FU or one of the best long-term storyline's we've had in YEARS. Problem is, we don't really know....and it's been on a rope getting thinner and thinner with each screwjob. Eventually if they don't give us the ending we want, the rope is going to snap and we'll be done. They are milking it to Wrestlemania 30....and if on that night the last moment we see as an audience isn't Daniel Bryan holding the WWE title with a crowd of about 70,000+ "yes-ing" their ing balls off, it will finally be time to concede, throw up the white flag and be done. Because there will be no more purpose. Tonight was great. For the last few months this new gimmick of "hijacking" has been amazing to watch. And it's not just happening in 1 or 2 cities. It's happening everywhere. It's almost viral. And the WWE wants nothing more than to be the most social media/pop culture active entity in the world. The more the frustration builds, the more business it creates. Or in the end, they really just don't give a flying about Bryan and are using his uber-popularity to keep heat on other guys. Bottom line, it's safe to say at this point that absolutely NO ONE wants to see Batista vs Randy Orton for the WWE title at Wrestlemania 30 We are ready for something NEW, ready for something FRESH, ready for something EXCITING. Most of the fans watching the past 5-6 years are just flat our BORED TO DEATH with the same crap over and over and over again. It's why on a nightly basis the guys getting the best reactions from crowds are Shield, Wyatts, Bryan, Punk, Cesaro, Ziggler.... We just want our wrestlers to be bad-ass. We want guys who can wrestle fast paced, hard hitting matches. We want guys with take-no-crap personalities. Guys with an edge. MANLY men who kick ass and take names. We're tired of cookie cutter vanilla soft serve garbage. It's NOT what professional wrestling is about. We'll see what happens tomorrow night. I expect they will get something done QUICK with Bryan for 'Mania as they will want weeks to sell it. Whether he's in the title match or not. Once again, though most fans are left with a sour taste after spending ALOT of money on a pay per view event only to have a vince russo screwjob bonzo gonzo finish. In the end though I'm glad Bryan didn't win tonight, because IF they really are ready to finally pass the torch to the next big star, they need to do it at Wrestlemania 30. Winning a title there is a legacy to last a lifetime (even if it's not your first major title)...winning a title at Elimination Chamber the month before is only a memory to be left for compilation DVDs. Oh, and The Shield are ing awesome.....especially Ro....SETH ING ROLLINS and Swagger/Big E. was a damn good match.

Bryan held the WHC for 105 days. It was a great title reign but it ended poorly. That's what started all of this. Them ing him over and it won't end until they stop. If they had given Sheamus vs Bryan 20 minutes at WrestleMania 28, I don't think they'd be in this position today.

I don't care about those terms. The term I can distance myself from is butthurt. How long does he have to hold it before you won't cry when he loses it? Do you ever dislike something they do? Do you complain? Is that crying? You've never been upset with something they did? Or are you too cool to do something like that? It's a TV show where guys in underwear pretend to fight, I don't take it too seriously -- I enjoy it and I spend money on it, but I don't cry about it when a result goes a certain way. Edge is one of my favourites of all time, and plenty of my favourite Edge matches are matches that he lost. The only thing I ever really complain about is the lack of characters and stories, and the frequency of pointless filler rematches in the midcard that go on forever (but I can skip those as long as I'm not watching live). I don't get butthurt because ROH guys lose sometimes, or because my favourite "workrate" guy doesn't get a "push" that dirtsheet writers want him to get. I grew out of that phase years ago. Who is he allowed to lose it to that won't upset you?

I need to stop talking about this Bryan issue before it drives me crazy and I start disliking him.
The Shield and the Wyatts was god damn awesome. Reigns taking the pin fall after standing up to all three of them makes him even more of a baby face.

These men put their bodies and sometimes their lives on the line every time they go out there, this isn't some play fight in underwear.

Exactly. If they had gone 20 minutes, the crowd would have seen a good match and seen Bryan lose his title in a hard fought match. They saw how hard he worked to get MITB and to win the title and the title run. For all of that to end in 18 seconds pissed "everyone" off. 18 seconds will continue to be a thorn in Vince McMahon's side.
