Only reason I'd ever watch TNA: If you could, you would have Jon's love child wouldn't you?

I already watch tna but man if ziggler, Bryan, and punk left for tna. That would be viewers. Imagine if cena joined tna. Their ratings would skyrocket. They really would not. As much as I like all of those guys, TNA's ratings would barely see any effect. It's just the nature of the beast. The show is even more poorly booked than WWE and it's just bad.

Thanks for not turning this into a fight! I never thought of ROH... As far as them sealing a deal on TV with Punk's name. That could help them go national with a deal. ROH would definatly be welcomed on my TV as opposed to TNA. But, would ROH have to change their format for television, or would they have the freedom o bending rules as far as blood and language? I've been watching the weekly syndicated RoH show for 6 months now that is available in my area. I don't recall a single instance of blood or foul language that would have to be toned down for a national TV deal. I also don't see how the addition of one wrestler like CM Punk would be the difference in getting a national TV deal. He's good...but not that good.

Also I don't think Punk or Bryan would like to come into a company and bump guys down who work their asses day to day to help keep it going. Regardless of my opinion on TNA, they have talented guys who work their asses off.

Forget ROH or TNA. If Punk is going to work he will go where the best money and the best matches possible will take place for him to stay fresh. That place is New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The smarks would eat it up, because Punk would have no restraints. In ring or on the mic. The casual fans that have become Punk followers may tune in to see him. It would be up to ROH or TNA to promote the hell out of him. Television spots, social media... Radio. I'm not saying Punk is the leader to an opposition to tear down the WWE, but I'm saying he might be the one who could back a company that could go head to head atleast in due time.

Booking is their biggest downfall. WWE has money and theyre more organized

Everyone is making assumptions as always. I agree with you. I doubt he will go anywhere and if he does, he legally wouldnt be able until his current contract is expired. Thats my take on it, but what do I know? It would be the length of his contract, plus 90 days I believe? I mean Bound for Glory is in October so... haha. I could be wrong but I thought the 90 days no compete clause was only if they released you or you quit? I wanna say if your contracts expires, you can do what you want.

Is a release the same as being fired? I'm almost 100% positive when you're fired you're contract becomes void. I'm sure a wrestling contract has slight variations, but, If he's fired, a no-compete clause is void right?

Hopefully he goes back to ROH, with Hero and AJ back plus Punk, it´ll be like good old times again.

That makes sense, so good point. I thought I read one time that the talent has an option to sign the 90 day clause, and that WWE pays them severance for doing it? Maybe I made that up but I thought I read that one time. I was thinking MVP or Carlito said that, but I can't remember honestly.

But Back in the AE when Jarrett's contract expired he ended up on Nitro the next night. But when they released you, you had to wait the 90 days. But if Punk did in fact quit, he should be able to pop up once his contract is completely finished. But I have a feeling he'll be back much sooner than later.

^ Yeah I'm with you there. I don't see him doing anything besides using this as a break or just leverage to get a better spot at Mania. That's all fine by me, and what I'm hoping for anyway.

If by some crazy happenstance Punk wound up in TNA I would definitely watch... but he won't so I will continue to not watch.

Punk isn't even close to Hogan and this is coming from a huge fan.
He won't go to TNA, maybe he'll just retire and do sporadic appearances in ROH.

I'll humor your thought for a minute...
I will say this, IF by some odd stroke of luck (the moons are aligned) (Dixie finds a genie in a bottle) Punk did end up in TNA, here's what they would need to do to do it right....
They must be willing to bring in other talent to have him feed off. Live mic. Signing Colt would be a must. Punk would have to convince Heyman to join. Joe would have to get a push for a dream feud against Punk. Daniels & Kaz would need to resign. Dixie would have to step back. Way back. No further back. AJ would need to return. Maybe bring in Devitt & a few others from Japan.
TNA would have to have a extreme makeover but then & only then would I think it could be a game changer. Not necessarily a threat to WWE, but it certainly would help TNA flourish. But I think we have a better chance of Eva Marie headlining Wrestlemania.
