Title pretty much says it all. Really trying to get rid of a lot of stuff thats taking up space. I rarely watch DVDs, so I'm fine with letting them go for a small amount of money.

There's a place called 2nd & Charles that has a few locations. Not sure if there's one near you, though.

You'd probably be best off selling them online in lots (assuming there aren't any rare/valuable DVDs in your collection). If you sell them at a pawn shop or somewhere similar, you'll probably get pennies each for them, if they take them at all. (My local pawn shop gives $.25 each, and only takes more recent releases.)

Try FYE or Saturday Matinee. You won't get much for them, though. Some record stores used to, but they seem to be disappearing, too. I think your best bet might be on ə-Bay.

i sold some at Half Priced Books once, but they told me they don't really want DVD's anymore cuz they've got more than they could ever sell
So, most places may not bother buying - maybe yard sale

You'll get the most for your money on eBay. Pawn shops are another option, but they'll never give you what you want.

I would say half price books but as someone said before most of them won't take them anymore. I might be interested in a few of them if i don't have them.

Ebay is good but it takes time, you have to take pics, pay ebay and paypal fees and deal with ebay customers which can be a hassle at time. FYE is good if you want quick cash. But if you have a lot of stuff that they wont buy (it will ring up .01) use decluttr.com
I had 75 cds that FYE wouldnt buy and that I'd never listen to again and ended up getting about .50 a piece for them. Some cds I got more money than others though so I ended up with about a payout of $50. Well worth it to me. Everything has to be complete with case with no damage and dvd in working order, no promo items accepted. THere cant be any damage unless it's minimal damage to the case which happens with wear and tear.
What you do is put in all the bar codes, they tell you how much per cd, tally up your total amount, then give you a shipping label. They pay for shipping you just have to box them up and take them to a UPS or USPS store. It takes 7-10 days for them to process and send out your check. I just sent out my package yesterday, so I don't have experience with them but so far so good. Even if they reject some of my cds, I'd be happy getting 40 bucks for them, as I said the stuff was worthless on ebay, half.com, amazon and FYE so it's basically found moeny on stuff I bought years and years ago.

Disc Replay is good. I've always found them fair when trading in. They'll pay pretty well for any video games you have too.
