Didnt know where to post this but figured Id try the sports board. If you buy tickets off a site like stubhub where they let/make you print out your tickets....is there anyway to get a hard copy/original of the event? Im going to my first NHL game next month and would love to have the ticket but we bought them off stubhub and its just a paper print out. Thanks for any help.

As a general rule of thumb, no. Much of the inventory you're seeing on StubHub is coming from season ticket holders. This season, the NHL switched over to a primarily e-ticket distribution method. Season ticket holders were asked to pay an additional sum of money if they wanted traditional, hard season tickets.
That's not always the case, though. A season ticket holder who elects to receive hard season tickets also has the luxury of printing out paper e-tickets from his or her account, invalidating the barcode on the hard ticket. Many sellers do this because StubHub encourages "instant download" listings and they push sellers to go that route for seamless experiences for the buyers. They even give seller fee rate cuts, so it behooves the seller to go that route.
In your particular situation, there is simply nothing you can do. The seller of the tickets may in fact have hard copies, but you are a customer of StubHub and can only contact them for assistance. They will not give out the contact information of the seller, and they will not typically honor "souvenir" requests.
In the future, for example, if you were to purchase directly from a ticket broker and they sent you e-tickets, you could certainly ask if they have the hard copies. Generally, most brokers are willing to snail mail the hard tickets out after the game has concluded.

I wouldn't be surprised if you saw a few on the ground too. After the game starts might be a little difficult still. At Blackhawks games, if you go into the concourse, you have to have your ticket to get back into your section.

Not sure how he Predators do their ticket deal with getting in and out of the arena.
