Christian leaving is a bummer for sure but I'd rather see him retire healthy than to continue to bust up his body. Del Rio leaving sucks too. I'm not the biggest fan of his as a whole but damn can he go in the ring. I wonder at what point will the WWE start building new stars. It's been 10 years since the last time they made a star...

The guy has been my favorite performer since 2003. The way the wwe has treated him since his return in 2009 has been crap. Vince basically forced the guy out in 2005 and they have made him a jobber to the stars ever since. For every chance edge got to make it as a main eventer Christian was never give one shot(and edge had opportunity after opportunity from 2002-2005). I'd honestly be done if he retired rather than see him be taken out of the ec.

I wish they would give him one solid run as champ, but I doubt it will ever happen.
A fantastic career, regardless. It will be a sad day when he finally leaves. One of my favs.

Honestly, the only person TNA booked better than WWE was Christian.

I dont see the obsession with Christian. I still think its people trying to hold on to a dying piece of the Attitude Era. He's mediocre on the mic, he's just above average in the ring. He doesnt have any sort of "look" to him that makes him stand out from the rest of the locker room. The highlights of his career center around he & Edge, he & Jericho and a TNA run that most people dont remember.

I will be very sad and despondent the day Christian leaves, he's a workhorse in that company, the fact they are considering pulling him from the Chamber is bullcrap.
I hope he returns to TNA at some point.

I always liked Christian more than Edge tbh. He's the reason I started watching TNA way back. I'd love to see him go back there if he does leave. That way he'd at least get a nice title run before he does eventually retire.

"if WWE finds someone "more important" than Christian to feature in the Elimination Chamber match"
They couldn't have put someone in his spot originally? If they do replace him, how will that person have suddenly become more important in the short time since Christian was put in the match?

Christian has always been a favorite of mine. He's had a hell of a career. I'll be sad to see him go.

I wouldn't blame him one bit if he chose to walk away. They clearly have no direction for him, & probably nothing on the horizon. He got a well deserved title run. I would be bummed to see him go, but I think he deserves to ride off into the sunset on his terms.

I haven't liked Christian since Edge & Christian, He hasn't done squat worth mentioning ever since those tag team days...
Alberto Del Rio's only highlight?! The Chihuahua.

I can understand both guys wanting to leave, but for different reasons. ADR is kinda maxed out. He's done all there is to do in WWE and, outside of giving a couple guys the rub on the way out, I doubt WWE has anything further to do with him creatively.
As for Christian, I feel there is plenty more that can be done with him creatively and he has more to contribute. However, with his body getting banged up like clockwork, and knowing the company has no plans for him,why damage yourself further. I don't think he would have any interest in returning to TNA either. But I hold out some hope that he gets a good run on his way out. Build him up,and have him put someone deserving over in his last match. Give his exit a real meaning.

Usually it's when Orton or Cena is hurt and they pick someone and it gets my hopes up sometimes and then Cena or whoever comes back and they're like "Ah... that's enough of that"... Ziggler and Barrett come straight to mind. Haha.

Don't really wanna see Christian's career end with a sputter....but it's clear the WWE has never really considered him anything "special" he was always booked as 2nd fiddle to Edge he was never put in any real main event pushes before he left then he left and went to TNA even his 2 WHC reigns were crap....first one was again, related to Edge, then they turned him heel for NO REASON and had him job to Randy ing Orton (as usual), and they never really invested in him as a major champion. Even though he had the charisma to absolutely hold that title, and should have. But in the end, he will still go down as a Hall of Famer. He still had a pretty amazing career, and if this is coming to the end I would think he'd have no real regrets. I also don't believe for a second that report about them wanting to pull him from the Chamber.

Christian should just go back to TNA where they used him right and actually respected him.
