I also think we've gotten way off topic, but I generally side in favor of eBay, fees and all. My only real complaint is that more can't be done to take action against fraudulent buyers. As a buyer myself, I've had some negative experiences, but a lot of issues have gotten more or less resolved. But as a seller (who sells things more than just wrestling related items), I've been stiffed by buyers who didn't pay way too many times. THAT's what I want fixed. If a buyer buys and doesn't pay, there's not much you can do. Contact them. They don't contact back? Open a case against them. They still don't pay? eBay marks an occurence on their account and give you a final value credit. And that's it. But by God if I sell you something for 600 that you BUY and then it turns out you probably never had any intention on paying to begin with, I'd like nothing more that to come take that 600 out of your face. And I hate that essentially NOTHING happens there to protect the seller except "well, sorry about your luck, maybe the next guy will pay when you relist it."
