I'll admit that I fell asleep during the first hour of RAW last night so I didn't see what happened with Batista. But later in the show I saw the advertising that Batista was going to be on Smackdown and he was going to tell the WWE Universe what he really thinks of them. It's no secret that Batista hasn't gotten the warmest welcome back (wrong place at the wrong time IMO).
Also, since winning the title, the Authority has been kind of weird with Orton and they never seem to fully have his back. They pretty much protect him to protect their best interests.
With fans already crapping on the title match, do you see WWE turning Orton face and Batista heel to add a little more interest for the match?

To be honest, the fans are going to crap on it regardless the roles either men play in the feud. No one wants to see it and I'm sure their voices will be heard if that match does play out.
But to your point, I think they're going to cheer Orton and boo Batista either way, similar to cheering for ADR at EC. I don't know if there would be any extended benefit of having Orton as a face other than Batista needing to be the heel in this match.

I missed the first hour and a half of Raw last night, so I have no idea what Batista did. I am not sure if they will turn him heel though. Does Disney/Marvel really want us to full on hate a guy before a major movie with him comes out? Sure, most of the fans seem to not like him, but it's not a full blown hatred yet.
Like Demolition above just said, it really doesn't matter at this point anyway. An Orton vs Batista WM30 match is going be a disaster regardless of who is face and who is heel. Be ready for YES!, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Randy Savage type chants the whole match. I think at this point, only Daniel Bryan can save that match and it looks like he will be going against HHH. Maybe the WWE will throw us a curve ball and put both Bryan and HHH in the title match for a Fatal 4 Way.

I'm mainly looking at it from the perspective that Batista fills the jerky heel really well and fans liked Heeltista.

Dave Batista.. Will not.. Be. A. Heel.
You can't promote a movie for Disney/Marvel.. While also trying to get people to hate you.

And unfortunately if you want to keep on that same train of thought, there's a very good chance he walks out of WM with the belt. It'd be huge for the WWE for him to go to GOTG press events with the title. Not saying I agree with it at all but just some food for thought.

In a normal circumstance, I would totally agree. But WWE is letting Batista promote his movie by coming back. At the same time they have to take care of themselves first. Plus, it's not good promotion if the crowds are booing you when they are supposed to cheer. If they boo when they are supposed to boo it doesn't look so bad. Also, as they were advertising Batista talking about the fan on Smackdown, King basically said it should be interesting because Batista is a douche.

Batista sucks. Orton is worse.
The match will suck. The fan response will be worse.
WWE is f*cking up. Big time. Period.

I don't it matters so I wouldn't do it.
Bryan beating HHH earlier in the night to get into the Main event seems like the best option in all cases.

Is it bad that I'm more excited for Jesse Pinkman than the WWE WHC match when it comes to Raw next week.

I see Orton turning face but not until after Mania & that's only after the authority & Batista screw him out of the title & after Batista goes Heel. At this point turning Batista heel is the only way to salvage this run.

This would be the only thing to get the majority of the people to care about the title match. They boo Orton, they boo Batista even more. Something's gotta give.

If it wasn't for the real reason WWE has brought him back(GOTG cross promotion) I would say a heel turn needed to happen ASAP.....but Disney wont want one of their guys being a "wankbag" every Monday and the last Sunday of the month from now til August.
As Flanders would say "Its a dilly of a pickle"

That's what has me convinced he's turning. He's sure as he'll not gonna tell the fans he loves them and beg for them to cheer for him.

It looks even worse on WWE if they decide to turn the guy who they've put so much stock into over the last 6 months as their heel Champion to go and turn him face in a state of panic a month before Wrestlemania. Either way, the fans will crap all over this Match. I hope they go the full works by the way too, I'm hoping for toilet rolls, pepsi and hot dogs thrown in that ring.
I then hope they get a Rematch the next night on Raw, purely for an even louder round 2.

I believe they honestly feel like they can make us give a crap about this match but it's just absolutely not going to happen. I really think they felt like Batista was a bigger star than he was. He was over when he first went face. Other than that, his reception has been kind of mediocre ever since. Maybe they're out of touch. Maybe they work way too much and are on the road way too often to see it. But he's just not that over and the same goes for Orton. This is Wrestlemania 30. It's a big deal in my opinion. I can't believe that they feel like Orton and Batista is the best option to headline this PPV. It's so bizarre that they would even think this.

As far as Wrestlemania goes, people are gonna cry and crap on the match as long as Bryan isn't in it. I think it would be cool for Triple H to replace Orton as the face of the company with Batista.

If by double switch you mean taking them out of the match and replacing them, then im all for it.
