Way to avoid the chaos Brad. Kansas will be less stressful now and that's awesome, but Super Speedway racing isn't actually racing.

I do find it funny that Rusty had all kinds of crap luck in plate races driving the 2 but Keselowski just seems to have gotten the hang of it.

I dont understand the hate for Daytona/Talladega. Its literally everything a viewer could want in a race. Tight packs, lots of passing, wrecks wrecks and more wrecks. Exciting racing from green to checkered and literally of 40 cars any of them could win the race. I would take a years worth of Daytona/Dega races over the garbage boring cookie cutter races. Charlotte, Kansas, Chicago, Vegas, Fontana...snoooooooooozee. I mean whats fun about watching cars drive in a circle for 300 laps, 3-5 car lengths apart and seeing the same 3-5 drivers win races?

I agree. I feel it takes a little more skill also on tracks like that. You are really racing, yes it's luck to get through the wrecks but it takes skill to move up through the pack and get a draft partner and work the draft. Take a track like pocano, whoever has the fast car is up there running away with it getting the lead and it's more won and lost on pit road.

Dega is in my state and I make it a point to tune in to every race I can that takes place there. That track specifically seems to take a lot of heat from fans and drivers, while Daytona seems more protected due to its history. Just waiting for the day it loses one of its two dates. Glad they finally chose to remove it from a Round-ending race. Doesn't need that kind of pressure heaped on top of it too. Personally I enjoyed the tandem racing that was in vogue around 2010 at Superspeedways. Tons more exciting to me than seeing one guy blocking the entire front of the pack until the Big One takes out half the field, or worse, the "pied piper" dynamic of single-file driving, clicking off laps.

Welp, NASCAR's decision to detonate the 42 to save their guy from elimination just took out of championship contention one of the year's best teams. Again.

A few years ago, I never thought I would be so sick of Martin Truex winning. Better be getting used to it for the remainder of 2017. As much as they've been playing the sympathy card for him this year, he's the guy I would put money on to win the championship. NASCAR finally learned to spread the 48's success out a bit instead of cramming it down all at once.

A few years ago, I never thought I would be so sick of Martin Truex winning. He's doubled his overall win total in 2017 alone. It's pretty ridiculous. He's going to face the issue of people putting his success on the team / car / crew chief and I'm not sure that it's an unfair observation right now. Going from zero wins on a 1.5 mile track (2004 - 2015) to having 8 (2016 - 2017) is a pretty large jump. I'm not saying.. I'm just saying lol.
