Welp NASCAR is for sale...anyone lemme borrow $20?
Seriously I hope they sell it to someone that scales the racing WAY back. Shed some races, shed some tracks hell Id even be open to shedding some teams. Its time to step back and restructure completely.

Yeah in a perfect world, for me at least, no more Chase. Pre-2004 Championship format. Maybe 25 races, 32 cars per field to trim some of the fat of field fillers who don't need to be there. But I wouldn't be surprised to see it stay relatively the same after purchase.

WOW. Didn’t they just purchase Arca or whatever it is. Hopefully whoever does purchase it brings consistency back to the damn sport. Not changing crap every week/year depending how they wanna rig it up to fit their agenda

I'd like to see them do what the Indy Cars and like what NHRA does. Your ticket is your garage pass. But still need passes to go on pit road during the race. I'd love to be able to go into the garage while the race is going on and see if I could get something.

Taking away races and teams is a horrible, crapty idea.

Oh off Harvick. Harvick wins again. Yeah I don't like it either. Another solid Top 5 though for MTJ. Consistency will get him there. And he'll repeat. All these wins won't mean **** for Harvick in the end when MTJ is hoisting the Cup again.

Anyone into FIA-WEC? I'm only interested in the GTE-Pro class being a Ford fan.

Of course Harvick wins again. May just tune out NASCAR and stick to Indycar.

You know what makes the Cup races much better? Spending 80% of them watching baseball. Y'all should try that sometime.

Harvick's gonna have as many wins this year as Antonio Cromartie has kids.

Playoff hockey is also a great option.

I just don't get how these old Ford's are this dominating after these same cars were junk last year. Yea the rest of NASCAR is asking that about Toyotas. Wonder how in 2014 they couldnt beat anybody but the next 3 years after that they win literally half of the races each season & 2 of the 3 championships....Are they cheating to or nah cause your favorite driver is in a Toyota?

They changed bodies at the start of the 2015 season which carried into the 2016 season before switching again to start the 2017 season. That's drastically different than Ford who has had the same body with minor tweaks since the 2013 season. I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment but using the "these same cars were junk" the previous season with Toyota isn't really true like it's with Ford. They're not the same cars.

There were changes done but a simple nose/tail change isnt going to take you from 2 wins to 16 & a championship. Toyota has been out performing other because they've been out spending others. That goes not only body but also mechanical/engineering. No its not the same car but outside of a nose/tail there's not much difference between any of these cars regardless of brand. Everyone is trying to blame Chevy's struggles on the Camaro this year...they dont realize last year with the SS all their wins except for the fluke wins came from 2 drivers. Chevy has been struggling the past couple years because they're not spending like they use to. Ford has made a push after being embarrassed the past couple years to better their cars. I fully expect next year to be a lot more competitive because Toyota is still spending on their TRD program, Chevy will have a year under their belts with the Camaro and Ford who's been making a push will be bringing in their Mustang.
