One thing that bugs me (and I know I'm nitpicking here) is the lack of black elbow pads on the figure. The picture on both sides of the package clearly show Bret with them on and I'm not sure why they weren't included. I remedied this by taking elbow pads from an unused figure, but it would have felt more like a "complete" figure had his look at least matched the actual attire from the packaging.
Also, let this be a topic with your gripes/minor issues with figures you own.

Wrong part choices when accurate ones are readily available ie; kick pads on the flashback HBK figures which could have been substituted for Road Warrior boot molds. Something else that's probably just me but all my Elite Zigglers (I've had all but newest one) have had messed up paint deco on the boots. Stained figures from cloth accessories was really annoying at one point also.

You know how a lot of McDonalds' no longer give you ketchup in the drive-thru unless you ask? And when they give it to you, you get one or two per order of fries? Someone figured out they could save a lot of money if they told their workers to stop stuffing bags with handfuls of ketchup that will most likely end up in the trash. Well, Mattel realizes they could save money too if a particular figure doesn't have elbow pads, or if they put them to the side and call them an accessory like they did with the RSC exclusive Brock. They're doing it to save money. It may cost pennies per figure to do elbow pads, but multiply that by thousands and Bill gets paid for a day or two of work. More importantly, he can show his bosses how he's cost-cutting.

Wow.... something was bugging me about that figure & I couldn't put my finger on what it was... you just nailed it, it's the lack of elbow pads....
Yea, they've got to be careful with this stuff... JAKKS started cutting corners near the end, and we wound up with a nearly naked Mark Henry figure....

Wow, not to sound rude, but.... all I hear is crying.
A great figure, that is accurate, has a great scan, comes with the blue globe belt, just be happy we got it.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion lol. I actually love the figure. Admittedly, I should have mentioned that in the first post but I did say that I'm nitpicking with the elbow pad thing. Anyway, I took some updated pics of a quick fix I did. I just took the elbow pads off of a spare Basic Zack Ryder I have to see what Bret would look like with something in place: Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

I think white elbow pads would look better, but will display mine with none.

I love that figure too. Ordered it from TRU. When I looked at it in the package there is black staining all over his arm! Took It out of the cardboard and it has black staining all over the back and butt! I don't know what to do about this fig.

Mattel has a history of not giving Bret his proper pads.
DM Bret - Had black elbow pads, no knee pads (should have black knee pads). Made no sense, especially since he had the jacket on, so of the two, you'd actually NOTICE the knee pads first. right?
RSC Bret - Had pink knee pads, should also have black elbow pads, like the picture on the box. This is at least a little more understandable since it has the jacket, so the lack would be unnoticed if the figure was MOC or displayed with the coat.
And now the WM30 one, he needs black elbow pads. The pink knee pads are perfect, a step up from the huge pads the RSC figure had. But they could have added a pair of elbow pads, I think. I did the same thing as the OP and added proper black elbow pads, like the picture on the package.
Basically, the only Hart figure to get both elbow AND knee pads was the basic one from the Royal Rumble series.

In my opinion I wish we got a faux leather jacket like on the DM fig except without the logo on the back. That would be sweet.

That was the one thing I said I wished was different when we saw the photos on RSC and again when we were shown the MIB pics. But I already had a set waiting as soon as I preordered him.

Aside from elbow pads, Brets figure could've benefited from bigger biceps, Bret had some pretty big arms, but according to mattel he did not.

I just bought the WM30 Rock just for the knee pads. Thanks to you, now I know where to put the elbow pads.

I stumbled upon one Bret and On HBK today at TRU, but something about the tape and lack of those clear plastic bands on the Bret made me inspect further. Someone had jacked his knee pads.... bummer I had to leave it as I need Bret for my MOC belt collection. Awesome fig though!

I'm just glad we got Bret and HBK and that they didnt have to take up precious Elite Line Flashback spots to get them.
