So this is like a major want of mine. And has been since the very first day we saw Proto pics. But the problem is. (At least for me ) they NEVER hit stores. I believe I saw ONE single set during Christmas shopping and like an idiot I told myself id grab one another day. Well that day hasn't come. I've seen plenty of entrance stages. But ZERO backstage sets. And I want one SOOO bad.
Now I go on Kmarts site and it's not even on there anymore. Before it used to at least day "out of stock" and it would let me check what stores in my state had them. But not even that anymore. Has anyone else had severe issues finding this awesome set? Can anyone think of a possible explanation as to why they weren't nearly as easy to find as the entrance stage?

My kmart is a little out of the way, so I don't get there too often but I remember seeing them around christmas. I didn't pick one up, as I just don't have the space right now. I want to get one after I move this summer though, hope they are around then.

I think my K Marts still have a few sitting around, I was only going to get one if they go on sale/clearance/whatever....

They are all over my area. I have one, and it sits in my closet as I never use it and don't have the display area for it :/ might put it up for trade

they were at various kmarts down southern new england (Attleboro, Cranston, Brockton) at one point. think they are mostly gone now.

I was hoping to buy this or the Raw Stage on clearance but I dont think my Kmart's have either of them anymore.

All the Kmarts around me have them for $52 a piece, so unless there's a big drop, they'll be there a while. I just wish it would drop to $30, I know I'd buy a bunch just for the weird accessories.

I opted not to mess around when it came to that thing. Of course it hit when i was broke, but they only had 2, and i wasnt gonna miss out. Thank Heaven for their layaway.

I just purchased one from my K-Mart near me that is shutting down. Got it for 20% off, so it was about $42. Didn't want to take a chance on them being gone.

I got it last year but it's sitting around in pieces right now. It's not a bad set-up, I like the curtain and GM office, but it takes up a lot of space. I especially liked all the break-apart accessories, like the couch & end table with lamp, and the rolling tech boxes.
Unfortunately, the price is steep considering that a large portion of this playset is cardboard. I'm afraid that a lot of these backstage sets will not hold up well over time because of that. At $50+, I think that some of the other exclusive sets, like the Ringside Battle or TLC playsets were a better value.
Although, I gotta say, imanny...That setup of yours looks awesome!
I remember hearing that Kmarts were discounting these sets, so anyone picking them at at $25 or less is getting a good deal!

Seems that many Kmart stores are going out of business and probably stopped ordering these.
