After Triple H words: he informed the talent that they would be getting a lot more exposure with NXT airing on the WWE Network now. He also informed the developmental talent that the NXT product will be pushed hard as its own wrestling entity in the WWE, and call-ups to the main roster will likely be less frequent as a result.
Do you think Mattel will make a NXT line?

This topic again. No. They have stated they won't and figures are based around main roster debuts.

It will never happen. There is a higher chance of the world ending 10 times then getting an NXT line.

What kid in a toy store is going to look for some unknown jobber who'll never make it to the main event? Kids want the big stars. I bet we'll see a million Sting exclusive lines before we see an NXT line.

Want a Corey Graves pretty badly. If we see this happen though, I'll be so disappointed we didn't see it sooner and get a Kassius Ohno. Would love the NXT title to throw on Rollins at some point too.
Not something I'm expecting to see, but NXT appears to be becoming an ECW formatted show on the Network. So they are getting some attention right now. If the shirts do well on WWEShop and people keep watching NXT then I can see them getting more merchandise. Maybe something subtle like inserting one figure into a Basic line and seeing how it goes.
Collectors will go for this type of thing and I think with Zeb level distribution that it could easily be successful. I don't know why the WWE line has to be viewed in a vacuum. Other toy lines get away with more obscure figures all the time, especially in BAF waves.

They have there own merchandise on wwe shop so I don't see it being that outragous The figures are made in mass amounts to justify development cost/manufacturing costs/etc. The WWE can easily produce and sell their own clothing merchandise and sell through their own distribution channels, but Mattel and WWE are a partnership. If Mattel couldn't make the Legends line a financial success they aren't going to try a line full of wrestlers the general public hasn't heard of. We are still, and always will be, a small slice of their pie. Catering only to people like us does not pay the bills at Mattel. Not to mention first time in the line debuts are usually a sales boost - no reason to hurt those sales by debuting the figures before wrestlers are popular or widely known.

I mean… if you thought you knew what a shelf warmer was…. NOTHING could prepare you for the amount of warmth the NXT figures would provide. Might as well roast marshmallows on them.

If the Network has continued success and WWE asks for it, then Mattel always has the right to change their mind, but right now, they said it isn't happening.

I think mattel will make SOME keyword SOME nxt guys/girls but not a whole set of them. Mattel changes their minds a lot based off of what WWE is currently pushing hard which is smart business move. Gotta remember all the times we have been told not going to happen in the past and then it happens. An example that comes to mind is when they said they would never do an elite diva and now we have 4 elite divas.

I'd love to see an NXT line, a lot of great figures to be made.
