Because Bieber is a known douche. What Pine did was kinda douchey too. Its absolutely a terrible thing. But it isnt getting the same attention b/c Pine is not as big of a name as Bieber. It didnt happen in the US. Its a newer story, so it will still pick up some speed. And there isnt a history of this behavior. America is a country filled with forgiveness, especially in the public spotlight. When you have a history like Bieber, its gonna be harder to garner forgivness and certainly slower. But he is still a big time actor in a huge franchise. In 5 years he'll be a household name. I guess maybe then people will care. I'm not talking about forgiveness, I'm talking about condemnation which is certainly lacking here. They're both douchey but on different levels.
