It sucks that he will retire soon but he's not getting younger.

Meh its his time to go imo. He's done everything to do in the biz and then some. He's been in WWE in some form or another for almost 20 years and his current gimmick is lame as all hell. The only thing I ask before he leaves would be for him to return to the mask and go out as a face in his final run. If he ends his career as corporate Kane its going to leave a sour taste in my mouth for his career, going from unstoppable monster to goofy looking guy in his 40's wearing slacks and wifebeaters.

He's retiring from wrestling to start -- an insurance company?...very strange to me.
I guess if that's his aspiration after performing, maybe he legitimately enjoys helping people. Hmm.

Can not wait to bump this thread when Kane retires. First people say he was stale, boring, but come his retirement you will be saying how great he was and should not retire. Team Hell No was not stale, it was great. Corporate Kane is not stale.
Kane is one of the last of a dying breed. A great gimmick, a great worker, I have always found him entertaining. Hope he gets one last nice sendoff by winning the wwe belt and retiring as champion.

Kane is one out of 3 (Big Show, CM Punk) to hold the WWE WHC & ECW. I have always loved Kane!

Kane will forever be my favorite professional wrestler of all time. Though Jericho always came close, my first love will always be Kane. If he retires, then so be it. He's had a hell of a career and I couldn't ever ask for more. If I could, though, I'd ask for him to turn face on the Authority and have one last good angle before hanging up the mask and glove.

Corporate Kane is horrendous imo. Easily some of his worst sh*t ever. The only time I've cared about Kane since he was teaming with X-Pac, was when he was teaming with Daniel Bryan. Guy is solid, but I'm not going to miss him at all.
This is pretty contradicting though. It says he wants to retire but he's going to keep working in WWE as long as he keeps getting a paycheck so... In other words, we have nothing to really talk about. So here's a blurb on Kane.

I won't really miss him, He's done nothing of any major significance since the Attitude Era but it does suck that one of the handful of attitude era wrestlers left is gonna retire into insurance, what an end to the Kane legacy... "Whatever happened to the Undertakers brother?!" "Oh that guy? He's selling insurance down in Tennessee now"...

Sucks to hear he's going to retire, but it really has gotten stale. Kane is one of the very few wrestlers who hasn't stopped wrestling since the attitude era.

It's about time. His best days are behind him.
I wouldn't be opposed to him making sporadic appearances here and there after retirement, in mask of course.

I love Kane. He has been a consistently reliable performer for 15+ years now and has only really missed time to recover from injuries. Pretty amazing run that he's had. I'm not a huge fan of his new corporate gimmick, considering how many authority figures there are now and the fact that all he does is lose. Doesn't really add a lot to the new corporation.
That said, he had a fantastic run as the World Heavyweight Champion a few years back. A bunch of really solid matches and a great exclamation point to put on the last couple of years he has left as an active wrestler.
