I've never been to a live show Raw or otherwise. We are taking my son this Sunday. Is it as big a production as Raw or Smackdown? Is it scaled down quite a bit? Do they have all the pyro and all that jazz?

Pretty scaled down, no pyro or anything.
It's a lot of fun actually, you'll have a great time.
What's the card looking like?

It's kinda lame. They don't take much seriously at those shows and the matches are predictable

I didn't read above post my girlfriend wanted to go and like a real man I took her I would of been happy not going as the product on tv is brutal.

Matches are predictable and usually thrown together but they do have a little more freedom so sometimes you see cool stuff.

Don't expect it to be as good as TV or pay per views, but house shows can often be fun. Especially when you have a match where the guys are enjoying themselves.
I've always enjoyed the ones I went to.

I've never been to a live show Raw or otherwise. We are taking my son this Sunday. Is it as big a production as Raw or Smackdown? Is it scaled down quite a bit? Do they have all the pyro and all that jazz? WWE house shows are not as flashy compared to RAW, SmackDown, and the pay-per-views and as a result, pyros are not used. There are exceptions, however. I know that WWE house shows in Madison Square Garden used pyros as well as talent who don't appear on house shows very often such as Triple H and The Undertaker. But the one good thing about WWE house shows is that the WWE Superstars get to interact with the WWE Universe more often than they do on RAW, SmackDown, and the PPVs. If you're in the front row, you might just get to meet a WWE Superstar like I did last December when I got to hold Cody Rhodes' hand as I attended the WWE house show at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington. Hope this helps.

CM Punk wore a chicken hat in a tag team match back at a 2012 house show I went to. Not exactly stuff you can predict beforehand.

-No Pyro -Less lights -No Huge stage -Depending on which one you're going to you may not see big names at the show -Not as Many people -WAY more fan interactive and alot of people enjoy it more because of that -Usually no signs (thank god)
That is really all you need to know, have fun man! the one I went to was a ton of fun!

The matches are longer, they are fun and there is a lot more playing to the crowd.
Sit back and enjoy your self. And please don't be one of those douches who plays up how wrestling smart he is.

They also like to test out new gimmick's and superstars. Like the one in 2012 I went to had Wyatt come out dressed like he is now but not as creepy and he sang a song on his way out can't remember what it was. Glad that didn't stick and the Wyatt we have now is 100 times better.
The Stage is not grand but you'll see entrance videos and promo stuff. No in ring footage cause there's no camera crews. If it's a small college arena, like the one I went to, you'll have a good chance of seeing superstars come and go from the arena.
The superstars have a lot more fun with the matches and with the crowd. Sometimes heels will do face things and face will do heel things.

The Shield, Cena, I think Usos, Goldust and Rhodes were but I think they got moved to Corpus. I can't remember. Lots of the guys my boys like. ..... then again they like everyone.

I was at a house show a couple years ago where Dolph defended the US Title against Alex Riley. Half way thru the match Riley puts on a Stone Cold leather vest And he and Dolph start trading Stone Cold/Rock finishers.
Also at the end of that show Zack Ryder came out as the Ultimate Broski to help fend off heels attacking John Cena

WWE's site is still advertising Cena and The Shield for Dallas. The Corpus Christi show has a Bryan vs Kane match slotted as the main event, I think. The Dallas show should be Cena vs Orton main event, and Shield vs Wyatts six-man. I don't know if it has all been switched around, but either way, it should be a fun show. The wrestlers get to play around more and have more fun on live events.

I don't like it nearly as much as going to a televised event. However, one of the best matches I've ever seen live was at a house show.
