L'Wren Scott, 47, fashion designer and girlfriend of Mick Jagger was found dead in her apartment this morning. Suicide is being announced as the cause. ...always a shame when someone kills themself. Such a tragic end.

My Mother is a huge Stones fan so this is all she's been talking about all day.
Sad though.

This happens just two weeks before I see them in concert, I sure as hell hope they don't cancel it.

What significance does she have other than 'Mick Jagger's girlfriend'? She was a big fashion designer.

I just heard on Sky News Mick Jagger dumped her & she was millions in debt so her life wasn't that great.
The only thing more tragic than suicide is the people who sh*t on people who do it, its fair to say its never a first choice its your last & you gotta feel so utterly without hope, your soul tortured to the point where suicide is the only option you see...
I didn't know the woman but I hope she can be at peace now.

The Stones understandably won't be playing in Sydney now (not that I was gonna see them) and it is a shame to hear about her passing, but I didn't even know she had a name until I had to look for it, as apparently all over the news I've watched her name is 'Mick Jagger's Girlfriend'.

It's a shame that someone has to be heartless in saying "who cares" about a person who obviously had a mental condition. It doesn't matter how much money, fame, etc you have. That horrible beast of depression can terrorize you until have no other option other than to kill yourself. Some people think that's the only way to kill that beast. I have crippling depression and although I do not have thoughts of suicide, I can see why some take that way out. Just the pain and toll on your heart and body and mind depression takes on you. I wish L'Wren would have gotten the help she needed, or got better help if she was already being treated. I really hope she is at rest now and those silent screams of horror in her mind are now quite.

If you have "crippling depression" with "no thoughts of suicide", I suggest you get re-evaluated, because one does not come without the other. It sounds like you're just sad.. There is a huge difference. And I only say "who cares" because she is neither a wrestler, nor an entertainer.. What significance does this news have on the people that circulate this board? Don't be so touchy.
