I've been saying for awhile now that TNA needs to hire young new talent instead of former WWE employees. That being said I'm going to contradict myself and say they should hire Matt Striker for commentary.
I want them to bring in new talent with new gimmicks. Be innovative instead of rehashing the same old stuff.
I don't get to watch much independents nowadays but if I was to bring in talent:
Mike Bennett & Maria Chris Hero JD Maverick (Haven't seen much of him, but he has a good look)
Just to name a few.

Hiring former WWE talent isn't the issue. Hiring washed up WWE talent is. Sure ECIII was in WWE, but he's a fresh young talent. Still, I feel like TNA has gotten better about this as of late.

They have been starting to get new talent over the past few months they've gotten EC3, Tigre Uno, Sanada and Samuel Shaw. And I heard that over these next few tapings in Orlando that we will see some new talent coming in.

@op: I completely agree with you, TNA should focus in bringing in some new fresh talent, doesn't all have to be from the indies but with a combination of young athletic former athletes, former YOUNG WWE guys and indy talent they could really have a great roster. However the type of talent TNA should sign to compete shouldn't be in the age bracket of guys like Adam Pearce but in the age bracket of young twenties up to later twenties, Adam Pearce is over 40 years old so he wouldn't be great for TNA if they put focus on young talent. They should sign some guys that have impressed lately on the independent scene such as Michael Elgin, ACH, Ricochet, Adam Cole, all these guys have had good training and can work really well. There's lots of young stars on the independents as well that would be able to make an Impact but would need some more training in the developmental system. I believe Devitt is fairly content with staying in Japan until retirement, it appears that WWE hasn't gotten him which makes me think that if TNA made an offer they'd get the same response, he's good in Japan aswell, not having his talent wasted like it possible could be in the US, I would be perfectly fine with Devitt staying in New Japan.

I'm guessing the Young Bucks, Johnny Gargano, Ricochet, and Rich Swann will all end up in TNA sooner or later. I'd be very surprised if Devitt doesn't make the jump to TNA within the next 2 years.

Top independent talent like AJ Styles, Petey Williams, Low Ki, Jay Lethal, Homicide, and Alex Shelley all came and went. I'd put them all on the same page as anyone listed in this thread. Any or all could have been the "future". So what happened?

The Wolves and other guys they have been bringing in are certainly good acquisitions.
They seem to be trying to get things in order.

I agree that TNA should attempt to sign all the big indie name...but they will have trouble doing that.
If they have ANY hope to sign to WWE, they should avoid getting the 'TNA stink' on them. Also, all the big name indie wrestlers probably make more money than TNA could offer them, since most can wrestle in Japan for a big payday and then come back to the states and get steady work.
I like TNA and hope they keep trying to improve their roster. I did take some time off watching TNA because I was bored by the same wrestlers wrestling each other every week. They definitely needed some new blood.

Big O...is awful. Pearce has ZERO entertainment value. I've been saying for awhile now that TNA needs to hire young new talent instead of former WWE employees. Bennett and Maria, yes. Hero...HUGE yes. JD Maverick aint bad either. The one TNA needs to land is Prince Devitt. With the rumored loser leaves town stip and Devitt being without a contract....he is rumored to be headed to the US. With friends like Daniels, Kaz and MVP in TNA.....I am really hoping they are able to sell him on the benefits on being in TNA. He can still work NJPW and the UK while under a TNA deal...which he cannot do in WWE. he would not be stuck in NXT and would be on TV right away.

I'll say this... the current crop of new guys they have brought in is among the best they've had. Hopefully it's only the beginning and there's more to come.
