I'm so glad Hogan/Flair didn't happen, god would that have been a disaster.
I would have liked to have seen the WM10 10 man tag on the card (I know it happened on raw later) but it wouldn't have been classic like the Shawn/Razor match, they could have at least ditched the MOM, Women's or Mixed Tag matches for it though.
Hogan/Austin should have happened at WM18, Hogan/Rock at WM19.
Tyson vs. Triple H sounds like a bad joke tbh.
Razor/Goldust would have been cool, but the back lot brawl was a lot of fun.
Kane vs. X-Pac would have gone a little way to fixing WM2000.
Thanks for posting.

Tyson vs HHH is the only one I never knew about. Thank God that didn't happen.
Shame about Hogan/Flair and especially Austin/Hogan. The latter would have been the biggest match in wrestling history.

That was the match everyone was clamouring for, it would have done great business, and they had several perfectly fine matches in WCW years later.

Flair needed a better worker (in Savage) to carry him to a decent match, and clearly Hogan wasn't good enough to do (hence their WCW matches). Sticking that match in the main event of Wrestlemania would be a recipe for disaster.

Hogan- Flair was a stamp on WCW's greatest feuds. They had those text book style main event caliber matches. Sure, they weren't spot fests, but they kept the crowds in-tune!

The Goldust-Razor one is weird. The graphic has a WrestleMania VII logo, and for them to do a Miami streetfight in the streets of LA would be strange (I know WWE has done "Belfast brawls" and things in other locations, but having a city name streetfight being in the streets of a different city seems weirder than in the ring).
The Hulkster will be working everybody until the day he dies.

Shane and Vince was a really good match. I'm sure Foley and Vince would have been fine as well, but I'm not sure I would want the way things played out changed. I never knew that Foley was asked to write and turned down the opportunity to write the forward to Lou Thesz's autobiography. What a dick.
There's no way I would want Razor and Shawn's ladder match shortened fork the WM10 battle royal.
Hogan never figured out why his match didn't happen with Flair at WMVIII? His propensity for rewriting history is as big as his ego (which is why the match never happened). Hogan should have done the job for Flair and put him over as a credible champion.
The Triple H/Mike Tyson match would have been a disaster. I'm glad we dodged that bullet.
First off, the graphic's wrong. Neither Goldust nor Razor were in the WWE at the time of Wrestlemania VII. For WMXII though, I wouldn't change the Piper/Goldust street fight to insert Razor. Piper and Goldy had the second best match on the card.
I have no interest in seeing Big Show vs. Shaq. Ever.
I remember when John Cena issued the challenge to battle rap Jay Z. I'm not a rap fan, but I thought the idea might lead to a fun segment. I'm not going to lose any sleep because it didn't happen though.
I would love to have seen the X-Pac/Kane payoff match. It's a shame Kane broke his hand. That would have been a really good Wrestlemania moment.
I'm fine with Vader vs. Mankind. I'm also fine with Mankind and Vader vs. Bulldog & Owen.
Hogan and Austin should have happened. I would trade Hogan/Rock and Austin/Hall for Hogan/Austin in a second.

Kane/X-Pac in an FMW style exploding cage match would've been surreal for Mania

Sting was a great worker, and Luger was more than capable of having a good match with most people. Their matches in WCW were horrendous. Flair needed a better worker (in Savage) to carry him to a decent match, and clearly Hogan wasn't good enough to do (hence their WCW matches). When Hulk Hogan greets Ric Flair, he says, "How's the greatest wrestler of all time doing today?" That's a fact. Hogan can say what he wants. Personally speaking, Flair never had a good match on purpose. His only good matches were with guys who could wrestle mannequins and put on 5 star greats (Bret, Hennig, Steamboat etc).

When Hulk Hogan greets Ric Flair, he says, "How's the greatest wrestler of all time doing today?" Of course, Hulk Hogan also says that Andre The Giant weighed 2570lbs and died ten seconds after getting slammed through the ring at WrestleMania 3.
