I'm just glad they're going all in w/ Hall. I was sure that the HOF induction was just the first part of baby stepping him back into the WWE Universe. I figured he'd be on double secret probation after the HOF. Then maybe 6 months down the line.....if everything was good, he'd get a legends deal. MDT Bill gets to hang out with Summer Rae, Eva Marie.....and now he's working on protos for Hulk, Flair and Razor Ramon? This dude has the life Don't forget he's been on two episodes of Total Divas, he's getting major screen time. Bills had more screen time than JoJo

Well, even if he signed a merchadise deal with the WWE doesn't mean Mattel would choose to make him. I hope they do, but there's still a good chance they won't.

Razor Ramon is owned by WWE and that means it does not matter whether or not Scott Hall has a merch deal or not. WWE decides, he gets paid if they use it.

I forgot Mattels policy about releasing a figure of a criminal. Not saying it's right or wrong, but Hall admitted to killing someone during an ESPN interview...I think in Mattel's eyes that is a little bit more extreme than not paying past tickets, smoking pot and even hitting their wife. And wasn't Austin just allegedly hitting Debra? Or were charges ever filed. I honestly don't remember.

Didn't Hall kill in self defense? That's not exactly a crime...

And leave all that money on the table?? It's doubtful. Making $$$ is the first order of business. And I would bet money they'll make a Razor figure. So long as Scott Hall doesn't incur anymore bad publicity.

The word murder is too dirty for this day and age, I prefer stand your ground. The Bad Guy stood his ground, and even if he didn't, our society is becoming kinda laxed on the whole killing thing, and it's apparent in the WWE, where the HOF features Snuka, Razor and Colon. The WWE also employs the sons of said criminals such as Primo and Tamina, so hopefully Razors, kid and Benoits can get in on the fun and join the WWE.

Didn't Hall kill in self defense? That's not exactly a crime... I think he was drunk and got into a fight with someone and killed them in self defense. But I think the problem is he still took someone's life because he decided to go out "partying". And I am guessing maybe Mattel feels like that might still be to controversial to risk the negative fallout if they were to release a figure. I hope I am wrong and they do release him, but I think that is the issue.

The only people who know about Scott Hall's past are hardcore wrestling fans. And there are a lot of those on this board who didn't even know about it until this thread. Surely no 10-year old kids mommy is gonna give a damn.

It just takes one person to bring it to their attention and then they'll start making waves.

If Mattel released Snuka, they don't mind Razor.

Yeah, that's true. I remember in 1999 when the Al Snow/Hardcore Holly 2-pack was taken off the shelf at Wal Mart because some lunatic conservative group said "Head" represented a severed female head. Instead of being what it obviously was, a mannequin head. I'm pretty sure the main objection to a Hall figure from MDT wasn't even his past. It was probably more about the substance abuse issues Scott Hall was publicly going through during that time. It wasn't until he cleaned up that they let him (and Jake the Snake, who cleaned up with him) into the Hall of Fame. So, I still say it's a green light for the bad guy!

They released a Jake Roberts figure long before the snake man cleaned up.
