So I attended Wrestlemania and the reaction in the superdome was eerie. As soon as the 3 count finished, NOBODY could believe it and everyone was looking around at eachother completely shocked. It was honestly the most surprising moment I've ever experienced, (inside or outside of wrestling). The guy in front of me legitimately was so disappointed he wanted to leave during the main event and his friend had to talk him into staying. It was insane. I think the streak has become something that has been taken for granted, so it this comes as an even bigger shock. I would have expected Undertaker to retire undefeated.
If you did attend WM, please describe your experience and reaction around you.

I didn't attend it..but just watching it on PPV was shocking...I thought I was dreaming..I keep hitting the 10 second back button on the Network to make sure I saw correctly. I can't even imagine how shocking it was to be live and hear that last slap to the map from the ref and just dropping your jaw to the floor. Crazy Man! Best WM ever in my opinion!

I didn't attend, but myself at the people I was watching with all sat up and said "holy Chocolate Shark!"

I wasn't there, but I was at a party, and we were all dumbfounded. It ranged from that to generally mad, but mostly we didn't know how to react.

Yeah my group of friends and I didn't say anything for a good twenty seconds or so.
I honestly wasn't even paying that close attention because I thought the match was boring. But when that third count hit I was speechless.

But when that third count hit I was speechless. Yeah, it was unfortunately not a very good match. You can kinda tell the fans were waiting for some kind of stipulation to kick in and have the match continue.

I didn't attend, but myself at the people I was watching with all sat up and said "holy Chocolate Shark!" I legit screamed "What in the f**k just happened?!?" I was desensitized from that moment on. I couldn't even get into the title match.

I was sitting at home pretty buzzed off a pint of Guinness. I thought I was seeing things. When I realized it was for real, I just couldn't process it.

I didn't go but saw it on the Network, It felt it was like a moment of silence for 5 minutes, just dead silence for a long time.I was in total shock. but I will know for sure that his final resting place is reserved for the class of 2015 HOF.

Undertaker shouldn't have gone out like this. Being that this is how it ended, they should have just ended it at 20-0 with Triple H, HBK and Undertaker all leaving together.
Undertaker's match with Punk last year was good, but it wasn't worth having to suffer through this type of ending. I'd have rather him retired at 20-0 and NOT gotten last years great match being that this year the Streak actually ended.
And if they were going to break the Streak...why not elevate somebody who could have built a career out of that moment alone? Bray Wyatt, for example. Brock Lesnar isn't a full time wrestler. He hasn't wrestled on TV in 10 years. He probably won't wrestle until SummerSlam now. He'll never be full time, he'll never hold a belt, he'll never wrestle on free TV....who knows how many years/matches he has left before he decides to retire himself.
Of all the ways to end the Streak, if it had to happen at all, WWE sure chose the way to get the absolute LEAST out of it.

I was watching the show through the Network on my laptop, but I wasn't paying much attention to the match due to boredom. I still tuned into the audio, but nothing sounded fascinating by any means. I was simply waiting to hear Cole call a Tombstone spot followed by an Undertaker victory. When I heard the call for an F-5, I didn't think anything of it. Then, I heard the three count be made and the bell sound. I instantly turned my attention back to the show and watched with my jaw dropped. It was one of the most surreal moments I've ever experienced. For me, it literally felt like time had slowed down. It's something that I will never forget.

I was taking a piss when it happened. I came out, and was just like "what the ". Until the main event, I pretty much was saying to my friends how stupid the decision was.

Rumor is Undertaker wanted the Streak broken YEARS ago. I just feel like it's a really anti-climactic ending to something that took over 20 years to build. There will never be another story like this EVER. WWE can barely stick with a story for the 3 weeks in between PPV's anymore. I just, in my heart, wanted a different ending. I know Undertaker has control over everything he does and he signed off on this and it was probably his idea, and I'm sure probably everybody tried to talk him out of it. But like I said...in my heart, it just feels like the wrong ending.

Of all the ways to end the Streak, if it had to happen at all, WWE sure chose the way to get the absolute LEAST out of it. It is one of the most intellectually- disabled decisions I have ever seen. What does WWE gain from ending the streak? Can't use it as a gimmick anymore. You didn't build up a young guy. You didn't give it to a guy who deserves it. You gave it to a part timer, here only for the money When he was the future, he turned his back and left and basically renegged on another deal yrs later. I get UT is fine with the streak ending. However, WWE should always do what is best for business. Lesnar will get the rub for a while whenever he wrestles again, but it will fizzle quickly. He doesn't have but a handfull of matches left in him. It's crap. I don't see where this helps WWE in the long run. Maybe a rematch next yr, but I doubt it. Maybe Lesnar is full time coming up, but I doubt that too. He was the wrong guy. Maybe Taker was just insistent on it ending this yr to Brock, and WWE couldn't change his mind on it. UT has always seemed willing for it to end, but WWE never wanted it to. If it was their decision this yr then it was stupid.

The reactions the camera got will be played over again for the next however many years. But I just rationalized it with Taker not wanting to burden someone who needs to get over with ending the streak.
