Last night we witnessed Brock Lesnar defeat The Undertaker to end his legendary undefeated Wrestlemania streak. This of course lead to a lot of but hurt fans claiming that Brock went off script and shoot pinned The Undertaker. One, IF he did go off script and pinned Undertaker, Taker didn't have to just lay there, there's a little thing in wrestling called "kicking out." When that happens, the pin count is stopped. Taker didn't kick out, nor did he attempt to. And two, if it wasn't meant to happen, they wouldn't of had the "21-1" graphic all queued up for the trons.
Just because you didn't expect it, and you didn't like it, doesn't mean it wasn't suppose to happen.

You have a #HijackRAW sig. Your opinion is invalid.
Totally kidding, but seriously, you could have put this in the million other threads. I agree though. I think Taker knew how beat up he was and just wanted to end. No need to look into it much further.

I don't think people have been complaining over the match for a fair bit of time, not since a few hours after it ended. I personally didn't have a massive problem with it as Brock is one of the most talented wrestlers on the roster but I just feel it was very anti-climatic how it all happened.

Whether it was anti-climatic or not, I think they were going for pure shock factor and boy oh boy, did that pay off in the end. NOBODY expected 'Taker to lose. They were expecting the same old 'Taker victory and 22-0. What an awesome way to throw a curveball and throw everyone off and to have something happen that left 75,000 fans in utter shock and disbelief.

They probably always have both graphics anyway just in case.

What do you mean get over it? I'm 25 years old. The streak is almost as old as I am. It's something I've witnessed since I was a kid. There's no way not to feel bitter about it.

Why would you feel bitter about it?? The streak deserved to end at the hands of a LEGIT person. Like it or not, Brock was most certainly that LEGIT person. He's a trained MMA fighter and former UFC Heavyweight champ. Quite simply, it would not have been believable seeing a 49 year old guy defeat a trained MMA fighter. 'Taker LOVES the sport of MMA and probably had too much respect for that and for what Brock has done when he made the transfer to UFC to want to get another victory at WrestleMania. If I had a choice of the streak coming to an end at the hands of Brock, Sting or Cena, come on, there isn't a choice there. Brock all the ing way. He's a LEGIT bad-ass and deserved the win.

The streak should have never ended. They just killed the allure and mystique of WM and the Taker. The 21 victories means nothing now because of the 1 in the loss column. The streak had become WM. And to say something like Brock had to beat him because it wouldn't be believable for Taker to win makes no sense. It is the WWE it's not supposed to be believable. If it was Bryan would have never closed the show as champion. In no universe is it believable that Bryan could have beaten Triple H especially with a damaged shoulder. And even more unbelievable that if he does beat HHH he goes on and beats Orton and Batista later in the night with an even worse shoulder injury.
Taker retires undefeated at WM and that leaves the allure and mystique of the the Streak and WM for generations. Now the Streak and everything Taker did up until last night at WM means pretty much nothing. There's nothing special about it anymore. Hell, Michael Cole now has a better winning percentage at WM.
That said am I happy he lost? No, I don't see the reasoning. Especially to Brock. Do I think it was best for business? No, personally I don't see how it helps enhance the WWE. Again I think it takes away some of the allure and mystique of Wrestlemania. Will I lose sleep over it? No...it is what it is.

I don't like that the streak is over, but as a huge Lesnar mark, I love what this does for character. He is literally the conqueror now, a legend killer that makes Orton's time as one pale in comparison. If Brock ups his schedule by a few matches a year at PPV only this could be great. If he doesn't, then it was a wasted opportunity. Either someone who could've used it should have won or he should have retired years ago. Taker shouldn't have competed in that shape though

Undertaker picked Lesnar to break the streak. If you want to blame anyone for the Streak ending , blame Undertaker , not WWE.
