Just like the title says, tonight is the most important Raw in the history of the company, why? Ill tell you why here.
As usual post Mania Raws are big but with the massive success and monumental results of last night's show WWE has to capitalize on the viewers tonight.
This dawned on me today at the school where I teach at and at 7:30 in the morning students were doing YES! chants in the halls and all I heard was Daniel Bryan/Undertaker. Mind you, I have never heard these kids and even a decent amount of faculty talk about pro wrestling in a long time.
Tonight is the night to set the new WWE year off in a great way, all the viewers new and old will be tuning in to see the aftermath.
I think WWE will be watercooler talk for a long time if they can continue to churn out an awesome product like they have lately.
Your opinions of this?

I think the Reality Era (come on, it's a new era. After the past month of programming, HHH wasn't BSing us) -- truly started last night, and they need to keep it rolling tonight. They have a REAL chance with the up and coming stars, and current vets, to make the best possible product they've had in a decade...
WM 3, 17, 30 have all been obvious turning points in WWE history. I can't wait to see what they do with it. Since Austin/Rock era, they have a chance to really have "average" people talking openly about the product, and being proud of being fans. The product needs that, and it's time to cash in the chips on what they have available to them...I can't wait.

There is no doubt, tonights Raw will have the highest ratings it has had in years. I'm aiming towards a 4.8 viewership.

I have high expectations for tonight's RAW. I've never been more happy with the product than this past year.

I don't think Bryan will be NEARLY the star that people are thinking he will be. He's going to be the next Chris Jericho, not the next Cena/Rock. I still believe that will be Reigns, which I'm completely fine with. The dude is a total package. And the fans are taking to him. Or Taker...that'll be Bray. Cesaro will be up there, too. Big E, Rollins, Ambrose, Ziggler -- on the fence with them for now. They have POTENTIAL. So I personally will consider it the Reality Era, over YesEra, but that's neither here or there. Either way, you're right, and I agree, last night was clearly the start of a new period in WWE, and that's an AWESOME thing. I haven't been this amped to see what they do in 10+ years. And we have such a STACKED young talent pool right now, it's ridiculous.

And don't get me wrong. I'm not taking away from Bryan or Jericho whatsoever. Y2J is firmly placed in pro wrestling history, and there's a reason people mark every single time he shows up.
But he's never really been THE guy -- just one of the guys that happened to deliver for the fans, and company, when he was around.
No lack of respect for that, at all. I just think the proverbial "face" moving forward is Reigns, barring serious injury, or problems, which I don't see. He's kind of bred for it, at this point.

I was hoping it was Ziggler that would win (Del Rio being the one to take him out pissed me off even more. Can't STAND Del Rio) -- but Cesaro winning and having that moment in the AtGMBR, and Show shaking his hand afterwards, even though Cesaro is still a "heel" -- That right there was the moment I was like "Yeah, things are going to be different"...Show could have taken that last piece for his legacy. He didn't. Cena winning -- ehh. I HOPED Bray would win. But it did no damage to his character to lose. The match was perfect for character psychology, and allows them to move forward (this is the first time I would legit buy a Cena heel turn after years of people speculating on here) Sin Cara is another character I think they could take advantage of now, and surprise us with eventually. We could get the Sin Cara HHH thought he hired in the first place. Cody Rhodes, also. It's only a matter of time for him being Champ. I really believe that, and I've never been a HUGE fan until recently. I think right now, he's just enjoying the time with his brother as Goldust finishes up his time...again, stoked about the product starting tonight. Hoping for the best. WWE's proven to have faith in them and give them time. The pay off WILL come more often then not.

I don't think it's do or die at this point. They need to keep debuting new guys consistently and start building Cesaro for the title at WM31. Other than that, keep riding the Bryan wave, have him drop the titles to Batista, have him win them back, so on and so forth. The product is in a good place.

Funny, the kids at the school were I teach were also talking about the Undertaker loosing and Bryan winning today. I could hear them in the halls, i have one student who is a huge wrestling fan like myself but aalmost all of the guys were talking about it today and that they watched it on WWE Network for the first time. So evidently the Newtwork os catching on and tonight is indeed a HUGE Pivitol Raw. and you guys metioning the current young roster, keep in mind the NXT is even more heavily stacked with (IMO) more talented guys and characters. Even the Divas segments could get good if they would focus on wrestleing with Paige and Emma sitting there in NXT either one of them could be an awesome oppenant against AJ, Emma (since she has already debuted at Summer Slam and Paige at WM XXXI 9I am not a fan of the Diva division but I am already excited to see those two matches). I am looking forward to Bo Dallas being called up again, the dude has so perfected his "Im a good guy" gimmick, that I think like his brother if given the proper slow burn will catch on fire as well. I am also looking forward to this rumored 3 man Miz, Ziggler Ryder team, hopefully they will not be 3Mb type jobbers.

Feels like a mixture of WM 14 (Austin Era kicking off/D-Bryan Era kicking off) and WM 17 (Austins heel turn/The Streak ending. Both arguably the two biggest surprises in WWE History).
That's why WM 30 is top 3 for me, and eventually (depending on how this era ends up being) the greatest of all time.
