Since I can't find this in a printed ad, would they accept the receipt of a figure I purchased Monday at that, not it was on sale?

Good luck with that! Especially at Target.

When I price matched I just showed them TRU's website on my phone.

No, you're understanding me. I want TRU to price match Target's current sale. Would the receipt be enough

Probably not. Although they have price matched if you showed them the sale or price on the stores website. They did that for me with Amazon, but it had to sold by Amazon and not a merchant. I'd say give it a try. The worse that can happen is they say no.

I was told target doesn't price match % off by the cashier. Is this there policy? I read about online but not regular stores

have been told Walmart and target do not price match unless the PRICE is clearly in the ad
Toys R Us usually will not price match any ad unless it is holiday time and do NOT price match Black Friday ads.
