Today I took the time to look for Elite 27. I went to target after target in search all because thanks to these forums I saw the Elites are on sale at Target. My goal was to find a Rikishi. I went to one target and found Billy Gunn (now I really want the Road Dog). Then I went to a second target and picked up Swagger. Then after that I went to another 3 targets and found nothing. Eventually I went to Target number 6 and found no Rikishi, I was so disappointed but yet I had searched for a while so I picked up the UnderTaker from 27 just to not leave empty handed. Then on the drive home I passed by another target and there I FINALLY found Rikishi.
7 Targets, only 1 Rikishi found.
Something like this really makes me hate Mattel. Why? Why pack only 1 to a case? It's like when I picked up the BAF Heyman set, There was only one Bryan to a case. They could have easily made it 2 per case of each guy but instead they get goofy. Why?
I did realize today though that I like Mattel figures. I like that the Basics are compatible with the deluxe. Unlike the previous company where the basics were one size and the deluxe were a different size.

Yes Rikishi seems to be very popular from this wave.

Yes Rikishi seems to be very popular from this wave. Yes, sadly I missed out on the Jakks Classic figure so I really wanted the Mattel. I honestly would love at least another Rikishi. I was planning on opening him, but seeing as I had such a hard time finding my Rikishi figure now im thinking I might want to keep him on his card.

Well, Rikishi is packed one per case but he's not in the revision cases so that was kinda stupid since I think he sells just fine at 1 per case.
The revision BOPPV cases did have Bryan x 2.

I've lost hope on ever finding him and I'm kicking myself for passing on gunn since I'll never find him again! I passed up on buying Gunn at 3 dif targets yesterday. I kept thinking I would buy another Gunn to have a second. But I just couldnt bring myself around to picking it up. Maybe I'll go get a second Gunn. What I do kinda want now though is the Fofi, im looking at the bright neon orange and think it's cool.

Mattel killed the hobby for me for this exact reason. You can NEVER find what you're looking for, and the case ratios are absolutely absurd.

Rikishi is a really good figure. Mattel did a fantastic job on him.
