First off, let me say I'm used to be a HUGE TNA Fan. I lost interest in the product probably around 2 years ago.
I'm a true pro wrestling fan. I know TNA is on it's last legs. They probably won't be resigned by Spike TV. That will be the nail in the coffin.... That would be such a shame though.. TNA had many classic matches and moments. I would hate to see it just fade away.
If Vince McMahon purchased TNA after October when Spike TV gives it the boot. He could bring all the classic TNA PPVS & Matches to the WWE Network. At least that way it would live on forever and not just disappear.
Do I wanna see TNA go out of business? Hell No.. But let's face reality. TNA killed TNA.
It's hard to believe.. What used to be an AWESOME promotion is now just a joke. October will come.. Spike will NOT resign TNA. .8 it's getting now in the ratings.. come on.
Me being a TRUE PRO WRESTLING FAN. I would love to see Vince purchase Video Library. For TNA could live on forever.....

I'm going to start buying the PPV's I am missing. I have almost all of 2004-2005. Need to expand until about 2007.
Perhaps we are all overreacting....who knows at this point. October will tell.
I love TNA...it's my equivalent of WCW, I've watched it since I was a kid. I will be very sad if it finally does shut down.

If so, then please don't have an opinion on a product that you don't even watch. If you watch it weekly, then I will listen to your opinion, if you don't watch weekly then please don't have one. Also TNA did not kill TNA, Hulk Hogan killed TNA. PS: I'm trying to not be harsh, i'm just giving you my thoughts.

I still watch every now and then.. But I know it's dying and won't ever be what it could've been.

No TNA need to get better and give WWE some competition so that WWE can get that fire lit under it's A$$ and return to greatness.

I don't see WWE buying TNA because TNA is so far below WWE that they aren't a threat. Also, WWE wouldn't do a total buyout because any TNA wrestler WWE wanted they could have signed when their TNA contract expired. Buying TNA before it dies would mean picking up a lot of wrestler contracts that the WWE probably doesn't want. WWE passed on the Wolves who became instant top stars on TNA and apparently didn't make a very hard sell to get AJ Styles when he was a free agent. That says a lot about how WWE perceives the talent level of wrestlers in TNA.
If TNA loses its TV contract and closes its doors, I think it is possible WWE would buy the video library and rights to the name so they could use footage on the WWE network and on DVDs. No Kurt Angle or Jeff Hardy set would be complete without matches from their time in TNA. A case could be made for Sting, Christian, and RVD as well. They could also release a Best of TNA series like the ECW Unreleased or Best of Nitro DVDs.
I still think its a big if regarding the TV contract. The current one ends in October which is 6 months away. A lot can happen in 6 months. Its not panic time yet for TNA fans.

If TNA does indeed go under that doesn't mean WWE has no competition. I have a feeling all the wrestlers would just transfer to Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling company and continue their wrestling career's there. And if that goes under Jarrett can just make another wrestling company. The man did it once and he'll do it again.

With Jarrett's new promotion, I'm intrigued with where this can go.
I just hope the guys who do jump ship can keep their name, and not have to come up with something copyrighted by tna?

The only way WWE would buy TNA is to have their library for the Network. And I doubt they'd even want that. They don't need to buy them out just so they can close the doors. That's foolish talk.
TNA has to right this ship immediately before it's too late. And that has nothing to do with WWE.

i agree that WWE doesnt need to buy TNA just to kill it. i would like to see TNA live on and somehow make things happen and become relevant again. But they keep losing top names and rehashing old story lines worse than WWE and its not helping.

I do hope TNA gets negotiating with Spike for a TV deal. I agree with some that are saying that right now it's not panic mode cause a deal could be made before October. As for WWE buying TNA to kill it, why? TNA could go under by itself and WWE could buy the library, which in all honestly and I'm not saying this to crap on TNA, I think TNA is worth half, maybe less of what the WCW rights were worth in 2001. TNA will never become competition for WWE, I'm saying it as someone who wants TNA to succeed, they will never be competition for WWE. If Spike and TV does not get a deal, that would be the day I will say "TNA is gonna close its doors", cause I know a lot of people can joke about, "Oh, TNA is gonna close its doors any day now, they'll be closed by the end of the year", I've always said they'll stay around as long as Spike wants them on their channel.

Tna did kill tna! For gods sake they bring in the same people that were Instrumental in wcw's demise. They blatantly rip off anything wwe does instead of trying to be there own company. It's shameful. No person with decent business sense, after 10 years if opportunity would be this far in the can unless they were majorly screwing up.
For the record I'd like tna to be successful but I'd say in the last year I just don't care. They've pulled the rug out from underneath their fans so many times that it's numbing. If they close, it'll be unfortunate for the fans and the talent. But the people in charge deserve to lose every red cent.
