And DC aint winning IMO......I have about 1/10 of the excitement for the DC stuff than what I have for Marvel. Every time I hear something great about a DC movie I hear 3 more things I dislike straight after. And I want the DC/WB stuff to be JUST as good as Marvels.....but there are some big things I'm struggling with TBH. DC is still in a "I'll believe it when I see it" state but I am more excited for Ben Affleck's Batman than I am for anything else in CBMs right now. Affleck's Batman is keeping my hopes alive too man!!

watched every episode of Gotham so far out of some morbid duty or another. I am just not buying what it is selling.
Flash, Arrow & Constantine are all on fire though(AOS too)

I just cringe whenever Jada Pinkett-Smith comes on screen.

I'm starting to get caught up with Gotham again and my god is this show ever boring. Bullock being such a crapheel is the only reason I keep watching it because he's hilarious and reminds me far too much of my old man, lol.

Since he won't be playing Dr. Strange (and as far as I can tell, he was never really seriously considered at any time, which is fine and understandable), I am now going to throw myself headlong into the cause: Timothy Olyphant for Harvey Dent. He would knock that role out of the ing park.

Her "genre credentials" are fairly good and she is easily on par with the choice of Alan Taylor to direct Thor II which worked out great IMO. However I don't envy her the gig with the chronically miscast Gadot. Hope she pulls it off though.....WW will be a tough sell IMO.

Is it too much to want a direct sequel to Mask of the Phantasm? I recently re-watched MotP and the writing and voice work was top notch(and to me it doesn't get the credit it deserves when Batman films are discussed). It doesn't necessarily need to be a theatrical release(since DC is killing it on the direct to video market). But I would love to revisit the TimmVerse some 20 years later.

For me, it is tied with the first Keaton bat-flick as my favorite Batman film of all time. It was incredibly dark for an animated film and Mark freakin Hamill was a boss times infinity in that movie.

It contains the best pure Joker moment in any adaptation ever. When the park is coming down around their ears he is just in hysterics...... Also when Pre Joker flicks the cigarette at Wayne's car......god damn that was brilliance from Dini. Batman 89 is a close second to this for me.

So Suicide Squad cast got confirmed today. comicbook.com/2014/12/02/suicide-squad-cast-revealed---includes-jared-leto-will-smith-mor/Don't know much on their story, but given the actors, I'm a bit hesitant on Smith getting the lead role for this. Quinn I'm familiar with, so Robbie sounds good for that, hugr fan of Hardy, though sucks he's attatched to DC and won't be in any MCU stuff, and I'm sure like most people, I'm hesitant on Leto as Joker. Ledger was so good, and it's going to to be really hard to out preform him, so that's why I feel this casting choice needed to be really be something DC believes would be on par with Ledger. Not saying Leto is bad or anything, just have my doubts they can replicate, or up the Joker we've seen before.
