Part 1: So I've been watching a lot of ECW PPVs on the network and have noticed a trend which makes me question the basic rules of an ECW match every time. There seem to be a TON of matches where there's interference/shenanigans done while the referee is distracted by a manager/valet. My question is why does the valet need to distract the referee at all? Aren't all ECW matches considered no DQ anyway!? Has an ECW match ever ended by DQ? It seems to happen quite often where the referee is distracted by someone like Francine while a run-in or chair shot takes place behind the referees back. Any comments on this? Which leads me to... Part 2: What are your thoughts on Francine? She seemed to play a pretty big role in a TON of ECW PPVs and always managed to end up in the spotlight. Francine wore some pretty revealing outfits (even for the late 90s) and was always around. She never really did it for me but she had that "dirty slut" look which, I guess, made her kinda hot. Decent body(great rack, dumpy ass)but her face just seemed cracked out at times. She actually looks much better and healthier now days then she ever did back in ECW though. What are your feelings on Francine? Then: WWECW: Now:

I loved Francine!! The long legs/short dress combos she would wear would definitely make the 16 year old teen that I was at the time have many 'uprising' situations in my pants that had to be taken care of by my hand.
And yes, there has been dq's in ECW. Heatwave 97, Shane Douglas vs. Terry Funk for the ECW Title ended in a DQ when Francine jumped on Terry Funk's back and started to bite at his ear.

Loved Francine. Met her at an ECW show in 99 and she was super cool. I agree about that dirty slut factor, some of those outfits were great!

The skimpy outfits were something I was a fan of.
However, her ass and face were no bueno. I prefer Dawn Marie by a mile. Hell, even Kimona, Beulah and Tammy Sytch were preferable.
I also never understood the valet distraction in ECW. Pointless. I've never seen an ECW match end in a DQ.

I can name off a lot of matches that ended in a DQ for ECW.
Shane Douglas vs. Terry Funk as I said earlier on at Heatwave 97.
Shane Douglas vs. Pitbull 1 at Hostile City Showdown 97, when he trapped Gary Wolfe's head in between the top and middle rope, and they tightened the ropes to try and break his neck again.
Taz vs. RVD when Lance Wright along with Furnas and Lafon got involved and they waved the WWF Banner around while Taz was down.
The DQ thing did happen, even count outs happened before. In 1994, Mikey Whipwreck retained the ECW TV Title by his opponents getting counted out or DQ'ed all the time. Shane Douglas beat Sabu at Heatwave 94 via count out.
Just gotta go back and re-watch, or read up on some stuff. ECW did have rules, just it was by the referee's discretion I believe is what Joey Styles would say at times.

Extreme catfight Ariel vs Francine from the WWECW ended in a DQ Yeah that sh*t don't count. Did ECW have any matches end via DQ later on in the promotion? 1998-2001?

Extreme catfight Ariel vs Francine from the WWECW ended in a DQ Yeah that sh*t don't count. Did ECW have any matches end via DQ later on in the promotion? 1998-2001? Hostile City Showdown 98 - Philadelphia, PA - ECW Arena - January 31, 1998 (1,600) Rob Van Dam & Sabu defeated Balls Mahoney & Axl Rotten via disqualification at 8:06 ECW @ Ft. Lauderdale, FL - War Memorial Auditorium - February 6, 1998 (2,000) ECW TV Champion Taz defeated Bam Bam Bigelow via disqualification There are two for sure in 1998. I know there was more too from 98 - 2001. So yes, there was dq's in ECW from time to time.

I always thought Beulah was hotter than Franny. Franny had a porn star look to her, like "pulled right off of a dirty casting couch and led to the ring" look.

GREAT comparison Which is kind of ironic, because it was Beulah who was the former adult star. I have seen her naked pictures back in the day from Penthouse or Hustler. Whatever magazine it was. They were.... awfully nice. But then I was like 18 years old when I saw them so any chance to see a naked girl was alright with me! Hell, still is now for me too! haha
