4/30/14 Since Superbrawl, Phil has been distant. He stares off into space for long periods of time. He's barely said anything and when he does, it's mostly just speaking in circles. I finally got him to start to open up tonight. It's not supposed to be this way, Percy. I did the right thing. When you do the right thing, you're supposed to rewarded. I trained. I didn't stab Drakz. I fought a fair fight. I did the right thing. And now I'm thrown back into the fold. I'm back in the WFWF and I'm facing some nobody. Mason Dixon? You never seen Rocky Balboa?Nope. Not a horror movie so I didn't care. You probably should.Give me a summary.Aging boxer Rocky Balboa returns to the ring to reclaim his former glory, against current star... ….Mason Dixon. Despite doing everything the right way, in the end, Rocky still came up short. He couldn't beat Mason Dixon. They went the distance and Rocky came up short. No belt for The Rock. It didn't matter that the sentimental, feel good story was Rocky beating Mason, he still came up short and he still wasn't the champion. What's your point? My point is that even in Hollywood, the “feel good, wrap everything up in a nice neat package” ending isn't always the ending that happens. Yeah, it would've been great if one more time, Rocky was celebrating, but it didn't happen. You've got to get over this National title thing, man.Even Meg held the National title Percy..I realize this..I am better than Megan.I don't think anyone's disputing that. Two time Heavyweight champion, longest reigning..But not a Grand Slam Champion, because I haven't held the National title.... It's not supposed to be this way, Percy. And just like that, Phil's staring off into the distance again in silence.~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mason Dixon, there are certain ethics and morals within this profession that you just don't break. Even the morally corrupt and the ethically absent like myself follow these, because without the honor among thieves the whole damn ship will sink. And when you go against this grain, you must be eliminated. Reborn? It's your demise.

I realize this is a complete non-effort. I contacted Mason Dixon a few days ago and told him, "hey, if you give a crap about this stuff, you should probably show because your character is about to get killed off." In essence, he told me he quit. I hadn't finished my roleplay but what I had written was an admitted drastic over-writing for a match with Mason Dixon, because I was only planning on having one more match for now. In reality, I wasn't planning on having any more matches, but he burned my goat and the creative juices were flowing with a story arch I want to play out, so I was going to set it all in motion with this show.
But I see absolutely no sense in posting a long and well done roleplay when I know for a fact my opponent isn't going to show and is no longer a part of WFWF. Perhaps it's sensible thinking to just save what I had written for an actual competitive match, even if everyone's favorite Rocky villain HAD shown.. But for now, I'm posting the singular bit that I had written that applies directly to this match and thus cannot be recycled with haphazardly tossed on header and footers. It sucks, but whatever. You guys are getting two matches out of me now instead of one.

Not going to lie, it would be the greatest moment of all time if he saw this, decided, ah it, and showed, and you lost to Mason Dixon.

I'm interested in how this (among others) match wound up getting booked. On the one hand, I had my suspicions that you'd asked for it just to get your ultraviolent jollies after your straight match with Drakz. But then, I don't think you'd have written an entire piece for the sole sake of pretty much knowin this cat wasn't going to show.
I'm a few days out, and I keep going back to this card, finding something new that bewilders me each time.

Nice little thing you got here.
Mason Dixon screwed me over, and left without even apologizing. -_-

Whoa. I'm sorry you read that like that. I was legit curious about his match, and I think the card is weird. Yeah, I'm pissed 'cause someone dropped the ball, but that's definitely not you.

Yeah, I've mostly been quiet on the matter because sometimes it's better to say not enough than too much, but here goes anyways. I'm going to try to carefully word this as to not give away anything I'm planning. Coming off of the Mason Dixon debacle at Superbrawl, I seen him as the ideal opponent for Schneider for a number of reasons. The big one is the out of character respect deal. When you screw up, you should have your character punished. Firm believer in that. So here, he was going to be beaten like a jobber regardless if he showed up or not because let's face it, there's not a lot that he could do that COULD beat me if I applied myself. A strong showing from Schneider and a semi-angled match was essential for Schneider coming out of Superbrawl, because it is Schneider's THIRD straight loss if you check the record books and it'll also start an angle. So yeah, it's a goofy booked match and it's essentially a throw away on the card, but it's one of those filler matches that builds feuds. Also, I'd like to point out that I never actually asked for the no DQ on this. The owners did that and I adapted what I'm doing a little bit to that. I think I proved at Superbrawl I CAN write a lot more than hardcore matches.

Your non hardcore writing is better than your hardcore if I'm honest. But I'm not a big fan of hardcore stuff so maybe that's just personal preference.
