4 hours? Only? That's weird... It was a big decision to make, a stupid decision. Brock didn't deserve this. CM Punk should've end the streak or HBK. Brock is only a part timer... I was really shocked. But I have gotten over it. So Shawn wouldn't have retired around the same timeframe if he had beaten the streak? Because if he beats the streak then retires anyway because his body was getting old, what's the point? ...and CM Punk wouldn't have walked out nine months later if only he had broken the streak, right? His mental burnout/physical injuries would've magically healed and he would still be around today! Damn you, 2014 part timer Brock Lesnar! This honor should have gone to the veteran who probably would've retired sooner than later afterward or the guy who left because he mentally/physically couldn't keep up the pace at which he was going!

As a huge Undertaker fan, I'm glad the streak ended. It had to, it couldn't go on forever. I mean, the undertaker can't go on forever. Brock was a good choice, I mean would we have believed after all these years that a Wade Barrett or Roman Reigns would win?

I took the 'one person and one person only makes that decision' stuff to mean Undertaker. Vince wouldn't make UT do something he didn't want to at this stage. During the interview Shawn states it was Vince as he is only person to make a decision like that. I don't think he would've done it without consulting 'Taker though.

Mark Henry was going to beat Undertaker at WrestleMania 22 but obviously Vince changed his mind. I'm not sure when Vince changed his mind but going into it, Vince wanted Henry to conquer the streak.

Would have been terrible then as Henry didn't find the formula to be an amazing heel yet. After his awesome heel run though I would have been fine with it.

That's still the only real problem I have with it. Fans were so disconnected from the idea of Brock winning that there was virtually no reaction when it went down, other than speechless silence. With CM Punk, just the year before, fans were hanging on every move, every pinfall, and the response would have been really emotional had Taker lost imo. The same can be said for any of the HBK or HHH matches in terms of the amazing reaction there would have been. Brock winning sucked the life out of the audience. I don't think it was the idea of Brock winning or even Taker losing, it was how he lost. I think Brock was as good a guy as any, and I get the logic, but the fans overall were looking past Brock and onto Taker's next opponent before the match even happened.

The logic of Brock ending the streak makes sense as he is BROCK LESNAR, there would never have been a right guy to beat the streak and thats a fact. People would complain whoever it was, it was always going to be a lose/lose situation. The Undertaker had to stop at one point so I think now would be the right time for him to hang up his boots.

I like that the streak ended, it's like a cliff hanger until next Mania.
I don't like that Brock Lesnar ended it, though. I would have loved a rivalry between the Undertaker and the Wyatts.

I think it got to the point where 4 hours before Wrestlemania, Taker genuinely just thought 'f*ck it'.
