What I don't get is that if it's a manager why would he even let them get to the pegs, he could of looked at them in the back before they started stocking and grabbed the ones he wanted.

You still need physical proof that what he was doing is against policy. Gotta catch him in the act. Not just "Fred over in Electronics said he does"...

He was being Petty.. Tom Petty... but ya as bummed as I would be, I don't know if I'd actually take the time to get this guy in trouble. It sucks, but life goes on. More important things in life than a Curtis Axel wrestling figure.

What if the OP had pulled the manager aside and black-mailed him into purchasing the Punk for retail, threatening to report him and complain to higher authority? lol I probably would've done something like that ProBoards REALLY need to raise the age limit on these forums. Haha No need to slander, my friend. I just feel that incidences like the one that was described by the original poster is below the standards of what Toys R Us has set in place, taking away from the shopping experience of the consumer. This never happens (or at least I have never have come across this) at the store that I frequent to. I would assume that it would be against the policy of ethics that Toys R Us may or may not have to allow its employees to practically run his/her own online store/business using the services of TRU, a potential breach of contract if anything as such exists within the organization, and if it has impacted my experience negatively, then I would take the opportunity to resolve the matter in the store, stating my intentions to file a formal complaint to the company of Toys R Us if the issue has become irresolute.

Your proof is where? Oh, an employee saying he does it. Calling corporate will get you nowhere. Those that have suggested that either haven't worked a day of retail in their lives, or just simply aren't using their brain. He's buying them, so that's not theft. There's no proof of him selling the merchandise, so you can't snag him for that. Nothing you can do about it. Haha I actually, i heard @ the stores i go to, They try to avoid customers getting a hold of corporate on their phones. Reason why is because they lose a good chunk of money(the store to corporate) when they have to call corporate for a customers issue. They rather lose a little bit of money than lose a way more to make a call to the big boss. also, i have only worked in retail and in warehouses. So you sir don't know what you are talking about. It is a type of theft, They are losing some sort of profit when he buys them using his discounted price. The employees know he sells them on ebay, so if there are "undercover" higher ups(yes they do this) checking up on a store, he can lose his job.

LMAO Are you talking about the gentleman who is chubby? Usually wears a Yellow shirt? Glasses? Light brown short hair? I was at that same store, that same day. I went to look at baby stuff with the wife but once there I went over to look at the toys. I noticed they were in the middle of restocking the shelves that day. I got there and noticed they put out Elite 24. There was no Trish. Then I noticed they had restocked the battle packs. They had 3 Bellas, I thought about picking up a Bellas set but I already have 2 I plan on selling. Then I noticed the BAF figures. It looked like they had put out one case. I was counting the figures in the BAF set when I noticed a Curtis Axel. At first I didnt realize what it was, I didnt know they were making a Curtis Axel in elite style. So I grabbed it. I finished counting the figures and it seemed like they had just put that case out. I bought the Axel figure. Could it be that he saw me buying the Axel and ran over to see what was left? I wouldnt be upset with the Manager in this case, he bought 3 Punks, the figure that will undoubtedly warm pegs every where. They still have plenty of CM Punk from the Heyman BAF. Also the guy prob makes a couple bucks more than Minimum wage. So if a perk of his job is that he gets dibs on new toys I say so be it. I remember when I worked at a store we would cherry pick stuff every now and then. It was prob the only perk we had at that job. If you really are upset call corporate and let them know. I dont see anything wrong with him being a customer of his own store. But it is kind of messed up that he'll prob hike the price up on those toys. At first I thought that manager was selling Axel on ebay for $80. Lol Why are you only selling Axel? Your probably better of selling the set complete. I only bought Axel. I would NEVER buy CM Punk, or Alberto Del Rio simply because I already have them. And I hate Orton so I wouldnt buy him period. See I buy figures under different circumstances. 1 it's a new figure/new character(axel). 2 It's someone I really want(Crush). Or 3 the figures were on sale so cheap I couldnt pass them up. Mattel forced me into getting Cm Punk when they put out the Macho Man battle pack. Then I picked him up again when TRU had that sale for 10 dollar elites, and all they had in stock was the Heyman BAF. That's already 2 Punk's for me I dont want a third. Same with Del Rio, I already got him in a 3 pack, I dont want another one. And Orton who I despise I also already have. I was forced by Mattel to get Orton when they put him in a two pack with Jake the Snake Roberts. And I found a two pack with Orton and Sheamus on clearance at target once for 3 dollars. Both times I did not want Orton but as it turns out I got 2. As much as I like Jim Ross, there is no way I would buy another Orton, Del Rio, and Punk at full price. I hate that Mattel constantly wants to force people to buy the same crappy peg warmers over and over and over again by coming up with some new scheme. In this case it's a BAF. Im not falling for those shady marketing ploys. Im just not a fan of current wwe. Now if you were to put Demolition, Hogan, Warrior, LOD, Powers of pain, Haku, M$M, and others from that era in every other case I'd buy every other case.

Perhaps my wording is off and therefore, I apologize for my mistake(s) as a human being, having attempted to explain myself to you in my previous post, but I do not see the necessity to verbally abuse and make insulting comments to peers of this forum for their flaws, recognizing the detrimental effects that it may have on the mental well-being of those who are subjected to such remarks.

I hear what you're saying but why are you selling it if you bought it for yourself? You have it priced at $80 and I doubt anyone will pay that. I was just giving you a suggestion about selling this series as a set. There's some dude on there who wants like $180 for the set, you could list it at $170 and still profit.

That really isn't cool. Plus, I don't think corporate would even bother.
