Anyone have any Oakley Sunglasses? Last year for my birthday I got the New York Yankees Oakley and they are really nice.

I have some oil rigs but I kind of regret spending over 100 dollars on them, but they are cool so it's alright

I have these ones that my brother let me have. I really dig them but they do leave a bit of marks on my nose if I'm wearing them for too long which kinda sucks.

I always wanted a pair of Oakley Zeros but I'd rather just spend $12 for a new pair of sunglasses at Walmart.

I hate the look of them, most of them look like they're designed to cover your whole face rather than just your eyes. I'll stick with my D&Gs.

I own a few pairs. I got 2 pairs of Polarized Radar frames with Range lenses. And one pair of BatWolfs, polarized. Oakley is the best at Sunglasses. I know some people think it's alot of money to spend 300 or more dollars on Sun Glasses but it's worth it. If I had to pick between buying 15 dollar glasses or Oakleys I'd pick Oakleys. I'd just save up those 15 dollars until I got enough money to buy the Oakleys. Those cheap sunglasses at Walmart/Target usually break pretty fast. You'll end up buying a number of them in the time Oakleys will last you.
I love my Oakleys.
Here's one thing that gets to me though.
Most Glasses, including sunglasses are manufactured, distributed, and sold by one company. It's one company that makes the glasses and owns the stores. It's a giant Monopoly.

I've never got why people spend $100+ on sunglasses. Nonetheless, they look cool, just not 100 bucks cool. To me, anyways.

Is your face not worth it? My Radar frames cost me around 1 dollar a day. I dont mind paying 1 dollar a day to get nice Sunglasses for my face. They keep the sun out of my eyes, they let me see objects with out glare, and if a nice lady passes buy I can stare with out her being able to tell. You pay 20 or so for a plastic toy figure. What purpose does that figure serve you? Im pretty sure you'll never leave the house with that figure in hand. You'll never walk around the park with that figure in hand. You'll never walk around a mall with that figure in hand. You'll never go to a party with that figure in hand. You will do all of those with your glasses on, so why not spend a little more? It's part of your attire. You'll get a nice shirt, nice pants, nice shoes, why not get nice glasses? Personally I do watch what I buy. I didnt before but once I got married my wife opened my eyes to that kind of stuff.

I'm just not one to wear sunglasses a lot; very rarely does someone see me with shades on.

I have/had 4 or 5 pair of Half jackets that I wore all the time years ago...as my eye sight has gotten worse and I wear prescription glasses more, I very rarely if ever wear them anymore.

It use to be a joke at one of my old jobs that under my glasses I had no eyes. I would never take my glasses off. Not at night, not while driving at night, never. The truth to that was I hated most of the people I worked with then so I did not want to look at them directly.

Are Oakleys cool again? They were rad and popular in the 90s.

Are Oakleys cool again? They were rad and popular in the 90s. They have always been rad. If you look at my previous post, it's all one company that makes glasses and sells them. In the 90's Oakley was it's own company but they were shut out by Luxottica, who now owns them. Luxottica makes glasses for just about every brand you can think of. Luxottica also owns most every retailer that sells glasses, both perscription and sunglasses. Luxottica's main competitor in the world of glasses is Walmart. Other than that they either own or make the glasses for pretty much every store you can think of. So back in the 90's Oakley wouldnt come to terms with Luxottica. Luxottica's response was to not sell Oakley brand glasses in any store it owned. Eventually after suffering losses Oakley was purchased by Luxottica. So yeah it may have seemed like may have disappeared for a while but it was only because they were shut out by Luxottica a giant company. Sunglass Hut International LensCrafters Pearle Vision Pearle Opticians Sears Optical Target Optical OPSM ILORI Bright Eyes Budget Eyewear Cole Vision Care Optical Shop of Aspen Surfeyes Laubman & Pank ICON Grand Optics LLC All of these retail locations are owned by Luxottica.

My cousin (up until a few months ago) was in a management position at their corporate headquarters in California. He got LOADS of free sunglasses. He sent me a couple of pairs. Then there was one I saw online I really wanted but he was unable to get them, so instead he randomly sent me a $100 gift card & told me to try getting them from the Oakley's outlet store in my area. They didn't have them, but he told me to keep the gift card anyways. I ended up getting a few pairs of shorts & flip flops. Ahh, I wish he still worked there.

I have a pair I leave in my car for when I drive and I have a pair of half jackets for golf and I still have a pair of Juliets from when the first X-men movie came out and cyclops wore them. Best lenses hands down. Their warranties are pretty incredible too.

Not really an Oakley guy. I like and have a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses though. The pair of Ray Ban sunglasses I have is the Original Wayfarer. I plan to pick up the Clubmaster design from them for the summer. And today I learned that me and Bruno Mars have similar tastes in Sunglasses.
