That Luke Harper looks incredible -- much better proportioned than the basic (maybe that's just the posing/angle though), and I'm so glad the flannel is removable.
Rowan... Well, it comes with the rocking chair too and so I guess I'm going to skip their two-pack... Both figures have the same head on the elite, Rowan has the same coloured jumpsuit, and the Harper basic looks a bit weird... So why get the two-pack? Hell, I'm sure I'll end up getting it anyway as an impulse buy. My excuse will be that the rocking chairs are different colours so that validates double dipping.
Andre and Sandow seem fine, Goldust looks great, Punk looks pretty good.
Much better set than 28.

Now that I've seen the pic of Andre without the wig, and better pics of the rest - I can say I'll probably be buying this entire set (the first Elite set in a while that I actually want them all). With the possible exception of Sandow, but that leather MITB briefcase is pretty tempting....
I most likely will NOT be displaying Andre with anything on his head....

Andre looks better without the wig, but why is the Goldust so bad? I don't know if it's just because it's too skinny but it looks way off.

Agreed 100% What difference does it make? Why do you need to see him in that combo? Will that make you want the figure more just because an extensive search revealed that, yes indeed, this outfit was actually worn by the guy. If you have to search for it, then why does it matter? Either you'll like it in figure form or you won't. I don't mean to be antagonistic. I just don't understand the mode of thought here. It was the same with Flair. People were tripping over themselves to find a picture or video of Flair wearing that exact combo, and for what reason? I just don't understand. *i like authenticity *I like accuracy. *I appreciate attention to detail *I don't like made-up attires, mash-ups or inaccuracy for the sake of saving cost.....or indifference because they know ppl like u don't care and will buy their product regardless *I care about what i spend my $$ on. *I'm obsessed with wrestling. *i love wrestling history and learning something new (while searching i found a pic of andre wearing red trunks & yellow boots. Something i've never seen before.) *I've been into wrestling my whole life. I've been creating Andre in wrestling videogames since the mid 90's....so there aren't many attires i don't know about. Take ur pick. Hypothetically speaking, if elite 14 Big Boss Man had a white shirt, instead of blue...........Maybe you'd care enough to question it. Its certainly plausible for a character based on that of a corrections officer.....to wear a white shirt. Its not out of the realm of possibility that 1 nite.....at some house show, in some podunk town....Big Boss Man couldn't find his iconic blue police shirt. And wore white. If only for a nite. Wouldn't u be curious as to the reasoning for Mattel making a white shirted Boss Man?

This whole set is amazing. I do hope that the Andre hair looks better on the finished product.

And he did wear baby blue trunks with darker blue boots. And we've seen a pic on two threads of Andre with the afro, blue trunks and black boots. So that's not an accurate comparison would be giving the Bossman we got a REMOVABLE black flak jacket. In which case, I would remove it if I didn't like it.

But who knows. Boss Man could've worn a white shirt once. Up until the other day......nobody knew that Andre ever wore Black boots when he had the afro. after u dig thru the hundreds of pics of him wearing red boots and blue boots.....i finally found some pic from 1971 when he wrestled in japan...and happened to be wearing blue trunks/black boots.

But the hypothetical was meant to relate to his frustration with Flair and Andre, in which case the hypothetical wasn't relatable. You can remove the black robe and still have an accurate Flair. You can have TWO accurate Andres if you want. It's his hypothetical. If he wants to find a pic of Bossman (not Bubba Rogers) in white, then go for it. Until then, it's an erroneous comparison.

Looking at Sandow... Have Mattel finally fixed the screw-up on the Money in the Bank case logo? I think every case so far (red and blue) has had the screw-up, where there's a white spot to the right of the K that shouldn't be there. Looks like Sandow's one finally has it done right, so at least there'll be a blue case without the screw-up.

you might could throw some tall red boots from British Bulldog on it (assuming they work for the pegs) Oh man I will be so mad if that works! There was a Bulldog at Tuesday Morning forever but I ignored it and it's long gone now. Wonder if MDT could suggest some figures with red boots would that work? I know I'm pretty disappointed his boots are black.

Welcome back This kind of reminds me how many threads there were asking about when savage wore the all star figure attire. It wouldn't get brought up every time something's not authentic if most fans didn't care about authenticity. Big boss man, obviously it matters to collectors if these topics come up every single time this happens. Jakks often gave figures moulded pads when they didn't wear pads, skin coloured wrist tape when they did not wear wrist tape, they would leave logos off the back of attires etc. Mattel's set the bar much higher but it's obvious with these topics that collectors still want ring accurate outfits.

You need the normal sized red boots on George Steele not the tall red boots Since Im currently redoing my shelf, I peeked at these real fast and Im not sure Steele's boots will work either. Steele uses the regular mid-size boot mold and the calf part isnt very thick. Andre & Big Shows figures have unique boot molds (The Giant is shorter, maybe Bruno's mold? didnt check on it)....It appears though that the DM Steamboat as a thicker boot mold and if the peg holes work, it *might* work out. Ill have to wait till my Andre gets here to try as I dont really wanna pop the boots off my Flair (where I have Steamboats boots) and the Andre Figure.
