Was what happened to Ric a work? I remember watching it life and knew the old guys hip just disintegrated. Then when he came back out I found a new respect for him, but a spot that I forgot was when he fell back after that hit from Finlay, so my question is was that a work, or does he have more balls than I thought?

I don't remember hearing anything afterwards about him being legitimately hurt so I'd guess work.

Not quite sure the spot you mean (which sucks since I saw it live) but Flair had/has a terrible back and hips, the back stemming from the plane crash and his hips from having to fall on them nightly because he could not fall on his back. Would not surprise me if he threw his hips more frequently than we even knew about though.

His late reaction made that spot priceless.

Such a strange mix of participants in that match.

I'm glad you brought this up because I've been wondering about this forever. The delayed reaction was so weird but he acted like he just got shot so I thought he legit hurt. The refs even threw up the "X" sign.

Like his face was already contorted in a scream, just no sound was coming out.

The refs even threw up the "X" sign. See, the X sign kills me. Every diehard fan knows about it, and every wrestling company knows we know. I feel like they do it to get medical personnel down there and then the wrestler/ref will tell them if it is real or not and go accordingly. Kind of like them doing their best to keep it "real" when everyone knows their hand. Just my take though.
