I thought this would be a cool and fun thread to make. As the title says what's the most expensive item you ever bought on eBay it could be anything from a figure, game, poster etc. and why? The most expensive item I ever bought was the SDCC Legacy Morpher. It cost me around $320 total just to get my hands on one, because the morpher was as rare as they day it came out. With only 1000 made and being a Comic Con exclusive the morpher sold out in the first 5 minutes. I did go to comic con in hope on getting one, but of course scalpers got the best of everybody and bought them all. Anyways I'm glad I have one as this is one item I plan on keeping forever. I have number #606 of 1000.

Off the top of my head, I think it was a set of the BAF's for like $130 for me and a friend. I don't make large purchases on eBay. I try not to buy things from eBay because it's never anything I really need! haha

I think the single biggest purchase I've made was an N64 lot with 2 consoles, 20+ games, and 4 controllers for a little under $150, closely followed by a Sega Saturn lot with a console, various controllers, and 20+ games for a little under $130 shipped. Both were great deals, though, especially the N64 lot, which included some pricey games such as Ogre Battle 64 and Paper Mario.

I have never boughten anything off of eBay, but my largest online purchase was either two years ago when I bought a lot of games off of the Microsoft Store on Black Friday or when I bought my mom a bottle of her favorite perfume for Christmas...that stuff ran around $80 after taxes so...blah. Haha.

My Copy of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. It was fifty dollars and that was over five years ago. It's got the case, manual, and everything too.

Original Thunderbird island for 250 has been my biggest purchase on eBay. Totally worth it for the look of pure joy on my dad's face, when he became a little kid again haha

I've purchased a couple of my adult replica belts on eBay that ranged from $150-225 so $225 is my max atm.

A few years ago, I bought a lot of old Micronauts with their boxes for $500. I held on to them for a while & sold them individually, doubling my money.

Going to buy a canvas print for £75 when I get paid for my Girfriend's birthday present. So it'll be that.
My friend spent £1000 on a limited edition Sonic the Hedgehog crystal cube.

Just bought three juggling balls for $2.08AUD and $5.09 shipping, so $7.17 shipped from the UK to Aus. Rip off.
Actually a pretty good deal.

I held onto it for roughly 2 years. I bought the lot in 2007 & sold it in November of 2010. I was doubtful as to sell it individually, but I'm glad I did. Only 2 or 3 pieces were MOC, the others were removed & hardly played with. I did have 2 of the rarer pieces (Microtron & Phobos) which both scored a nice hunk of change for me.

Back in the day when PayPal was able to take my debit card, I bought the Australian edition of The Fame Monster for $40. why an Australian version? The album was given the edited release in the USA.
