Hey guys, Just wanted to share a few quick pics of my newest signed MOC WWF Hasbro and Galoob figures. They are both of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. I was able to get these signed by Ric during his appearance at the Niagara Falls Comic Con on Friday. The cost of getting them signed wasn't cheap, I will say that much. But I think it was worth it in the end because the value on these just went straight up, in my opinion. However, that doesn't really matter to me because I have absolutely NO intention of ever selling them. Any figures I get signed myself, I hold onto. Here's the MOC WCW Galoob figure from 1990: And here's the MOC WWF Hasbro figure from 1992: I am not too sure how many other people have these two figures signed, but I can't imagine it's a whole lot.

ohhh I dont know how much the value went up on those. They are fairly common MOC's combined with the fact you likely paid $50ea for Flairs auto. For every one person that will give you $50 more for a signed figure theres a person that will tell you youve decreased the value by signing directly over Flairs face.
Autographs are awesome if you are going to keep them like you said you were but there isnt much $$ in them as far as resale unless the guys dead.

Man $50 to have someone sign it is kind of nuts. I know hogan is up there too. I know it can increase the value of items but I just feel crazy when I see things like that and get ultimately bummed because after all its just ink and 2 seconds of their time.

Awesome additions to the collection mate, congratulations.
Couple of questions,
Why on earth did he sign one over his face find that really strange?
Secondly how come you dont think many will have them signed? Is he a jerk when it comes to signing things? I hate the thought of some of these old timers thinking they are too good to sign things for old fans unless theres heap loads of money involved. I experienced this with Virgil of all people.

I hate the thought of some of these old timers thinking they are too good to sign things for old fans unless theres heap loads of money involved. I experienced this with Virgil of all people. I had the exact opposite with virgil. Of course he was playing lonely virgil so I thought Id go up and chat him up a bit because no one was really caring all that much. They did at first and he had a decent line going but when some other legends like demolition, jimmy snuka, hacksaw etc etc showed up the lines shifted to them. Anyway I went up to him and just started talking about some old stuff and then he was like well man want a auto and I was like yeah I have this virgil hasbro and hes like hand it here and just signed it and thanked me and that was it. Never asked for money and when I tried to give him his auto pay he didn't want it. He said he was having too good of a time. BUT Brutus beefcake on the other hand is a complete bag of tools, rude, didn't seem to care or like being around fans. Really off putting and in personal opinion never really cared for him anyway. He was a waste of a roster slot.
