All the damn things that make noise on toy aisles to try and sell gimmicky toys that aren't good enough to let the product speak for itself are driving me nuts!
A few years ago it was 'T-Pain microphone' with the loud autotuned voice going "T-paAaAAAaAaaaaAAaaain MicroOoOoOoOooophoOOOoooOOne" and kids smacking the button three hundred times. Then it was the 'Beyblade' display at Wal-mart with the sucky rap about what are essentially over-glorified tops.
Now the one that gets me is the loud-as-balls motion sensor activated 'Marvel Mashers' displays at Target and Walmart. No matter how far I try to stand away from them they scream "LET'S GO SMAAAAAASH!!!!! SPIDER SENSE IS GOING CRAZY".
Are these things annoying the pee out of anyone else?

Nah, I just hunt a lot. I have a difficult time blocking sounds out, I'm a very active listener with sounds and tones and such and I lack the gift some people have for tuning out. Like when bad music comes on at work, other co-workers tell me they've zoned out, but I just can't do it. Always been too attentive to things like music and even just background sounds.

I always hated when kids keep pressing the button on those type of toys. You could always just listen to your music on your phone or ipod to block out the noise and not be annoyed.

How damn annoying the Firby's were!!! Not to mention all of the "Room sensor" toys. As far as wrestling toys, the WEF and WCW buddies that talked. There was always a kid throwing them around. It's just noise. I would understand if you worked around toys how annoying it would be. But a casual 5-10 minute toy aisle graze shouldn't be enough to bug you.

I noticed one of my Targets has a Hulk with a very low voice. I wonder if it's worn out from overuse or did the employees figure out a way to muffle his voice.

Lol T Paaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnn Microphone! I remember seeing that. It made me laugh one time because a lady's kid had it. And the lady took the mic away and said..... "Nah Uh, not today TPain" It always made me laugh. I know your pain. I worked retail for YEARS. And every year I would hear Xmas music the day after Halloween. It drove me nuts. To this day I cant stand Xmas music mostly because I grew to hate it so much. Eventually I learned where the music for the store was being wired in, I learned and I learned how to unplug that garbage. People would complain about the store being silent but I loved it.

I never liked noisy toys. Even as a kid.
