The Celtics/Rockets game was something else. Cant believe the rockets have lost 5 straight.

The Celtics/Rockets game was something else. Cant believe the rockets have lost 5 straight. They'll bounce back. I doubt they'll finish outside the top 3 for the season.

That ending on Thursday was hilarious, couldn’t stop laughing. Harden is delusional.

So looks like the Greek Freak stepped out of bounds on the last play last night.

Damn, I wish Isaiah Thomas played tonight. I’m so glad he’s gonna be back playing now though. I can’t wait for a cavs v Celtics playoff series

After Lavar Ball guaranteed a playoff appearance this year, the Lakers are tanking again. They have a nice collection of young talent, I dont know why they still suck.
Brandon Ingram Kyle Kuzma Julius Randle Jordan Clarkson Lonzo Ball

Brandon Ingram Kyle Kuzma Julius Randle Jordan Clarkson Lonzo Ball I agree solid young core. Just need experience and maybe 1 or 2 veteran players.

Cool game in London yesterday. Ben Simmons is excellent. I don’t know why he doesn’t just take over in the games a little more.

How do you guys feel about the starters for the all star game? I think they were pretty good choices. I'm very interested to see who the reserves are.

Blake Griffin to the Pistons apparently.

Not sure what the Pistons are trying to accomplish with the BG trade.
When healthy the guy is a beast in the paint. Problem is he’s hurt more often than he’s healthy. He has a solid mid-shot, but has no 3-point range. He’s also not the best defender...sounds a lot like Drummond.
If both are healthy they should be able to snag a low playoff spot in a weak east. Heck they may even steal a series. But I feel like this is a 2nd round ceiling at best unless they can upgrade from Jackson at PG (which doesn’t seem likely with his contract).

Blake Griffin to the Pistons apparently. I think the Clippers are going to go after Lebron James, who wants to be in LA to get his movie career started.

I know its the usual mid-season pastime for NBA viewing to preach doom and gloom for a struggling LeBron James team. But this year may actually be different. The Cavs are in trouble. No Kyrie Irving. Thomas is a defensive liability. And now Love has a broken hand. The Cavs have gone from a solid big three to a big one and a bunch of aging veterans whose best days are behind them. I think this may be the year that the talk is justified and a non-LeBron team comes out of the East. Go Celtics!

well Conley is done for the year, Tyreke Evans is being shopped to be traded. Not sure if Marc Gasol is on the trade block to. Been a tough year for Griz fans....

But most years they struggle to even make the playoffs.

Holy crap! Magic Johnsons and the Lakers got fined $50K because Magic said some good things about Giannis Antetokounmpo. They said his comments were "tampering". Seriously? Really? Magic is no longer allowed to talk about any current NBA players in interviews? This is idiotic.

Lots of interesting stories between now and next season. - Status of LeBron, Wade, and Bosh in Miami - Melo's free agency - Spurs' status especially for the Big 3, you know a rebuild is coming soon - A really deep draft class - New coaches in Steve Kerr and Derek Fisher - Will Derrick Rose be back to his old self? The conferences are certainly going to get quite a shake up come next season. Cray to think how far removed we are from this...

Just saw on ESPN: the Unicorn is out for the season with an injury: torn ACL. Sorry NY fans, at least spring training is just around the corner and your Yankees are stacked.
There may be a jinx on LeBron James all star team as Porzingis is the fourth member to suffer a serious injury.

It's trade deadline day and Cleveland is blowing up their team. Other than LeBron, I can't even keep track of who is or isn't a Cav anymore. I.T., Rose, Wade, Crowder, Shumpert, and a 1st round pick have all been traded away.
Sure looks like a panic driven fire sale to me.
