The problem with CANADA is we ONLY have Toys R Us for Elites. Wal-mart is good for basics. That's it. In the US they have TRU, Wal-Mart, Sears, Target, K-Mart and more... We've stopped at Elite 27 for now cuz Mark friggin Henry is clogging shelves. My TRU however has BAF Paul Bearer sitting on the shelves and BAF Jim Ross....there's alot to clear out before anything new comes our way. Mattel needs to get in touch with the major retailers and get their products (ELITES specifically) into our canadian stores.

You said it, that's exactly the problem. When I was in TRU today I noticed they cleared out about half of the WM series that was clogging the shelves. They had 5 or 6 pegs of them, down to 2 now. I'm going back tomorrow as I suspect that they cleared them out to put new stock out??? Only have about 5 elties on the shelves Couple HHH exclusive, Henry and a Swagger. I grabbed a Road Dogg that somebody was trying to hide I think/ Wasn't even in the aisle it was up on the very top of another shelf

Any country outside the USA has worse distribution than Mattel's in the USA

I don't get why Walmart stopped carrying the Elite line. They carry the Marvel and Star Wars figures of the same scale and price. I realize wrestling isn't as popular as it once was, but there's gotta be enough of a market for them to move at least a case or two of Elites every few months.

Yea I haven't seen E27 yet here in Canada. just a bunch of Mark Henry's and Jack swaggers. I actually like those figures and think they are pretty cool, but I understand why they pegwarm.

I realize wrestling isn't as popular as it once was, but there's gotta be enough of a market for them to move at least a case or two of Elites every few months. It's because WAY back when the elites first started our canadian walmart only got FOUR figs. The stores either got Big Show and John Morrison or Batista and the blue CM Punk. Well back then CM PUNK clogged EVERY friggin store there was, as did the batista cuz he left shortly after the fig came out. These four figs sold like ass and sat on the shleves - same thing happened to Zellers (now Target) they either got Undertaker and Rey Mysterio or Rey and Mark Henry - that's it. They sat on the shleves forever until Zellers closed down. You can't have a selection of 15 elites and they're only two wrestlers out of a 6 fig set. The same thing happened with Toys R Us as well - bad figure selection (canada got a$$ f*ck*ed in the original releases) equals NO SALES equals retailers not ordering more figs. Plus Legends series 2 was so bad it killed it for the reg elite line too. It wasn't until the Ricardo Rodriguez BAF set that TRU started (or best they could) to keep getting the elites sets coming in and they've done a good job honestly - just the prices STINK. 28$ for an elite is atrocious. The only sets they missed so far I think were the one with all the legends (savage, trips, taker, jbl) and the first blue boxed wave (with Bruno) and now elite 27 and I presume 28 as well. I think we'll see e29 though if we're lucky. Here is some tips for canadians though. 1. If you shop at TRU keep your receipts in case the figs go on sale. Within 2 weeks you can go back and get your bills adjusted. Usually if you do this for two figs you'll almost have enough to buy another fig. Also if the figs go on sale and they have NOTHING new on the shelves for weeks (a TRU staple - many, many, many times I walked in to a sale with no stock on the shelves or stuff that's been sitting there for months when newer sets weren't even put out) you can get a rain check good for 3 months on the sale price. So you can back when a new series comes in and buy them all at sale price (what's up now b*tches?) 2. If you live close to the US border or feel like going for a ride - find a UPS store nearest your border crossing and have your figures sent there. It's so much cheaper. The one I go to charges 5$ a package holding fee for each week. So if you get a big box of figs sent to you THERE it's US shipping price AND an extra 5 bucks. Happy hunting fellow canuks!

Wow that's great advice about TRU I didn't know that. I've only been collecting since last January. I know my area (Kitchener ON) got the Elite series with Taker, Trips etc because I got the Taker for myself and the Macho for my buddy. I'm really hoping we get E 28, I really like the Bray figure. The detail is pretty awesome in it.

I want Gunn, Rikishi, and Crush. I am looking forward to Flair the most though and hopefully he is in TRU soon!

I bought the bullet and ordered them online back at the end of march...I might have to do so for Crush and Bray too - urgh!! Flair I didn't want to chance it cuz the DM are 45$ after taxes here in canada and that's just silliness, so I ordered him off amazon - even with the conversion and shipping it was still cheaper than buying him at TRU. This is ANOTHER big problem with canada - I see peeps in the us complaining all the time about how 20$ is too much to pay for an elite. LMAO - no it isn't. 30$ is TOO MUCH lol. I have no idea how elites can be 16.99$ at wal-marts and targets in the states (I believe a while ago Target had them for 14.99 and WalMart for 12.99 on sale) 'and yet up here they're 25.99$ plus tax. That makes no sense. We're not half way across the world here... I don't get it. And especially since Canada is wrestling country - c'mon!?

Join the club down under, mate. What's Canada like? I've always wanted to go there. Should we make a 'Mattel forgetting about Australia' thread? Not to be an ass but Canada is wrestling country. Aside from the us territories back in the day check out Montreal's history. Stampede in Calgary? The tunney's territory (in Toronto?)... Canada is a huge part of wrestling and EVERY superstar/legend came through canuk country at some point. The uk and Australia (for example) - don't even compare. That's like India, Asia, the middle east etc etc... Not that you guys don't deserve to have all the figures too - I'm just saying it feels like canada HAS been snubbed when we have such a rich history associated with wrestling. When it comes to wrestling we're the us' baby brother.
