Should we make a 'Mattel forgetting about Australia' thread? Not to be an ass but Canada is wrestling country. Aside from the us territories back in the day check out Montreal's history. Stampede in Calgary? The tunney's territory (in Toronto?)... Canada is a huge part of wrestling and EVERY superstar/legend came through canuk country at some point. The uk and Australia (for example) - don't even compare. That's like India, Asia, the middle east etc etc... Not that you guys don't deserve to have all the figures too - I'm just saying it feels like canada HAS been snubbed when we have such a rich history associated with wrestling. When it comes to wrestling we're the us' baby brother. Please know that I didn't say what I said to be an ass either; and that is a great point, I agree. Lineage and legacy aside, Australia at one point did get good distribution here, but now it's worse than sub-par. Anyway, good points mate, cheers.

Fine Mattel ... screw us out of getting Elite 27 but don't screw us out of getting Flair. Make sure he makes it to Canadian TRU stores. WOOOOOoooooooo!

Not cool. As an American, if what's going on is what i think is going on, that sh*t is WRONG. As much as Canadians (being wrestling fans or professional wrestlers) contributed to the wrestling business and they're gonna keep them out? I hope that's not really what's going on. Don't tell me they're doing you guys like they do right aid Albertsons out here in WA state. That's not cool at all.

You know what else sucks right now about living in Canada for wrestling figures..... this freaking Battle Pack line is EVERYWHERE AROUND ME!!! The two Walmarts near me where I live have so many of these 3 sets!! I gotta feeling I will never see a new Battle Pack series because of this series clogging the shelves. And at $29.99 each, no wonder they clog the shelves!

SO I go back to TRU today ework and head to the figure Isle, I can see from down the isle they got stock in. More of E26 Henry and the WM HBK and Hitman. There are mega Henrys and 5 each of HBK and Hart...that was the shipment. To say I was disappointed is a huge understatement. The fact that I don't have a car and can't very easily shop around in different towns is a bummer as well. I may just have to bite the bullet and order online ( I never have as I really like the feeling of finding them in retail) but it's to the point where the TRU hasn't had anything new since at least 5 months as I remember picking up a E26 Warrior in February.

TRU has the WM fantasy matchups right now

Wow, are you serious? That's ridiculous. I ride my bike by TRU at least once a week and if I have to keep walking in and seeing E26 and the WM series, I think I might just climb the building and jump off...

100% serious. I couldn't believe it myself. Even looked through other isles to see if anybody was hiding them etc. Nothing turned up

I'm stunned I was lucky enough to find BP26 a couple weeks ago, and better yet, the Bellas at that! I'm guessing that was a total fluke and I won't see them again. The ones posted above are like a horrible curse for Canada.

The stores have to order the figures. There is nothing that Mattel can do. The increase in price in your areas of the world for figures doesnt help the cause at all I'm sure.

In hoping we get some new elites soon!

Isn't this fairly typical of the "summer drought" though? I'm not defending or saying I like it, but I feel like, in Canada at least, we get a pretty good flow of figures heading into Christmas and Wrestlemania. Then late spring and summer hit, and the inventory they stocked up on for the Wrestlemania sales season rots until around Summerslam.
I dunno, maybe I'm wrong, but that is the kind of pattern I feel like I've seen around here for the last few years.

Do you recall Canada missing out on certain Elite series during this "drought" time or do we just get them later?

Last year was my first summer collecting and it was tough finding things last summer for sure. Still feel like this year is worse though

Those import taxes and everything really mark up the prices up there, which is stupid.

Yup $28 for an Elite after taxes, or $18 for a basic after taxes is insane. Then if you order anything online the shipping is almost $30 (depending on where it's coming from) plus custom fees....we get effed over pretty hard

It's not just wrestling figures either for us Canadians.
Look at the wrestling blu ray situation. In the USA at their Walmarts, they have WWE blu rays, and for us Canadian folk in our Walmarts, we just have WWE DVDs.
I don't get why it's like this at all for us Canadian people.
