One thing I'd like is for them to not have the crowd so well lit, it almost takes the focus off the ring

I am looking forward to a new look BIG TIME.
The new logo, new stage, new belts, etc.
I'm different than most, I like change.

Yeah lets pop a huge 4k titan-tron in that bitch!
Joking, but seriously I agree. The stage just feels too generic, both Raw and Smackdown look nearly identical despite the colors and logos. It is a new era and the stage is just a hindrance of the past. I want to see something that looks like a PPV stage in it's uniqueness.

wrestling fans really don't like to move forward huh? I think that should be the new sub-heading of this section.

I'm down with a visual change but why is it everyone always wants them to good back to the days of old when it comes to championships, stages, gimmicks, music, etc? We don't need a stage from a decade ago. We don't need the Winged Eagle championship. Bring on something new.

It hasn't been totally the same since 2008. At RAW 1000, they began to change it up a bit and looks (to me) a lot different then before.

Perfect. I'd rather see them cut back and have a simple stage for RAW and Smackdown every week and get more creative with the ppv stages.

I think it's perfectly fine the way it is. Looks good and impressive.
Why fix something that isn't broken (spending more money in the process)

But personally I don't see how the giant fist stage would help Smackdown, or Orton going back to "Burn In My Light" would fix his character.

Something creative like that.

I dont see the point in an "HD Stage" when in a 2hr show it gets about 5 minutes of air time.

use this until they make their money back, smaller stage = more seats. smaller stage - less physical haul on the workers

Those stages cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to create. I don't understand how they would cut back by spending more money.

I've always hated the HD stages. My god they're ugly.

I would love to see them revert back to old stages. Imagine Xavier Woods leading out the New Nation through the '92 neon entranceway as he challenges for the cruiserweight title.

does anyone realize this is a multi-million dollar MASSIVE television company? have any of you seen TNA or other wrestling on TV? their entrance stages look like they belong with the company....low budget. sometimes i think people here forget this is 2014, and this is WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT not an indy promotion. Their entire focus in this era is overselling, over dramatizing and making sure their fans and apparently the millions of people only watching the show for the first time see something IMPRESSIVE on the TV. There is nothing that looks like the current RAW stage, and when you see it you're supposed to be like "wow, thats big and HD and cool as hell" Why would they go BACK to metal pipes and a cloth screen? wrestling fans really don't like to move forward huh? I completely agree. No matter what WWE's financial situation is, reverting to a smaller, simpler stage would be BAD FOR BUSINESS. For WWE to do that would be screaming, "yeah, we're really feeling it hard and now we're going to short the consumer with lower quality production". I'd equate that to a struggling restaurant serving smaller portion sizes, because that will bring in the customers, right? Should the look of the stage change? Yes. But it shouldn't look lower-budget.
