Any suggestions on what one could use to make floor mats for outside of an action figure ring? Thanks.

If you go to Walmart , in the craft section they have foam sheets in multiple colors and some actually have a peel off sticky backs if you wanted to attach it to the floor or a piece of poster board etc , they are in perfect scale with figures and actually provide padding for the outside of the ring , also you can pull them up for some concrete action . Hope it helps , enjoy .

My friend used a pieces of a black yoga mat, and it looked pretty good.

I bought a pack of home-gym floor mats, to use as a concrete floor. It looks similar to an arena floor, but is actually quite soft.

Just do it the Bill Watts way...no floor mats. But then the figures would start complaining about how there are no mats and that they're getting hurt on a nightly basis.

I used foamboard. I cut on alternating sides, reinforced with tape, they fold up like actual mats and are pretty well to scale, I even put velcro tabs on the ends so they link together. its somewhattime consuming to get the measurements right but they look real cool
