So, as some may know, I just got back from Belfeild,North Dakota and have been on vacation for 9 days. Well, I just got a phone call that myself and 10 others are being transferred from Notth Dalota's oils feild to Mineral Wells,Texas.
So I ask, what is there in the Mineral Wells - Jacksboro area to do? We leave Monday. Also, how is the figure findings in that area? Thanks!

Thanks guys. I'm not to worried. I was in North Dakota, which is pretty rough , people wise.
I'm just trying to figure out if I'll be stuck to online orders or if figure hunting is possible locally.
Also, hoping there's plenty to do for my wife and 2 kids.

It's a really flat area cuz there's no mountains, I have to say the buffets there are amazing really enjoyed them and the people there are pretty short. Just giving my view when I visited my uncle in Texas a few years ago.

Pee stained seats, and trash everywhere. However, Golfport, Mississippi is awesome. I guess I'll update this page with our adventures.

Just giving my view when I visited my uncle in Texas a few years ago. what part of texas is that?? there's quite a bit of texas that is the opposite of flat -- even basic cities like san antonio and austin are definitely not flat...north san antonio, by the quarry is fun to drive because of the ups and downs while driving --- austin has tons of hills & no where near flat ** looks like the city you mentioned is closest to Fort Worth/Dallas...but still like an hour from there IDK the area very well, but good luck!!!! and if you have free time & are bored...there's always dallas

Made it to Jacksboro. Hahah it's good so far, except one issue. The grocery store Diamonds, was closed. Permanently. We were going to stock up for a few weeks, and the manager there said they were closed, someone bought the company. WTF? An hour later, we got everything we needed from Walmart
Red rock isn't that bad here. I'm sure once I get to a rig it will be. Family is happy so far. I already miss the beach.
