So I'm currently watching Beach Blast 93 and Flair vs. Windham more specifically. I was really into this match as they are two of my favorites and the finish comes basically out of no where with Barry getting pinned while Flair has him in the Figure Four. The entire thing looks bad and ruined a match I was really into. It appears the Referee screwed up because it looked like Windham kicked out and the Ref counted three anyway. Does anyone know if this was a legit up or the refs part? It really looked like it. Such a shame, I was really into that one.

It may have been a on the fly ending for that match. Barry Windham blew out his knee in that match, and was out until May 1994, when he came back to wrestle Ric Flair out of all people, only to blow his knee out yet again!
So I am guessing the figure four/pin was just a quick way of ending the match for Barry's sake, so he could get to the back.

I still think it was a screw up. Because Barry looked very frustrated and Flair did not react for a few seconds. It was like they had no idea what happened.

The most hilarious part is how when Windham returned, the challenger was billed as a 6'7'' 300+ pound former World Champion....and people ACTUALLY thought it was Hulk Hogan...Like Col. Rob Parker was actually going to manage Hulk Hogan!? LOL!!

Especially when on the WCW Saturday Night the week before, the masked man came out and attacked Flair, and you could easily tell it was ol' BARRY under the mask. But Barry looked horrible in that match, he was all out of shape, and he was like like 307lbs at the time. And then he goes and blows out his knee like 5 minutes into the match. That match was really bad from what I can remember. It didn't even main event that PPV. I believe the Nasty Boys vs. Cactus and Sullivan AND Sting vs. Vader came after the WCW Title match. It was almost like WCW knew that the match was gonna be horrible, and not have it as the main event.
