Bring back Bischoff as the general manager and replace Smackdown with WCW Nitro every Friday. Smackdown has been on the slide for some time now so what about replacing it with WCW Nitro.
It would create a buzz that WWE could do with. Make it less PG, keep Cena as far away as possible and sign Punk to come back to be the flag ship man for WCW. Have it more wrestling based rather than "entertainment". Longer matches and less comedy skits and such. Two completely different shows that can create a diverse comparison that would work to keep both shows innovative and fresh.
Chip in with more ideas but i would love WWE to do something like this.

It'd be a good idea for a more mature show to be put out by WWE (Maybe like shotgun saturday night kind of thing) but we don't need them butchering another brand after what they did with ECW

At one time... sure. But I think that ship sailed long ago. wCw has no name value in today's wrestling world.

Or just have Brad Maddox become Smackdown's general manager & do a story-line where he takes over the brand, only to make it a modern counterpart to Nitro by doing everything you listed.

They original wanted to have WCW shows but the networks wouldn't buy it without the WWE name.

In my opinion, WCWs best days were pre Nitro.
Nostalgia is good every now and then. Not as a weekly thing.

Id have loved it 13 years ago but there is no more WCW. The stars are gone. There's like 2-3 active guys who are legit "WCW guys"

Ergo = BRAD MADDOX!

I think it'd be better to bring a face authority figure in and claim control over SD causing stars to choose sides between Raw/McMahons and SD/New Authority Figure. It'd breathe new life into SD and be an interesting Summer storyline that I've yet to see this year. Although Im assuming their big summer story will be Brock coming back after the title, but cats been out of the bag about that for a long time now.
I'd love to see someone like Booker take over SD again and be the face authority figure to Triple H's heel authority figure. Because its been one sided now for way too long, either bring in a face authority figure or bring back Vince to take over that role.
On the note of the topic Nitro is long gone, and its never coming back.

With no brand split, makes no sense/ Actually it doesn't make sense today even with the brand split. If you wanna watch WCW, wait till the Network starts uploading Nitro and you can get your Nitro fill. In fact, maybe they can put Nitro on Fridays on the Network during Smackdown. That way for guys like me who don't watch Smackdown, it's like we replaced Smackdown with Nitro anyways. Another reason why it wouldn't work is, who the hell would be on the show? Most of the main WCW guys are retired. For the guys who aren't retired, Jericho works on a semi regular basis. Big Show, he's basically a semi-active wrestler, which is perfect for his size. Rey Mysterio, you would every few months because of how often he's injured. Had this happened during the Invasion, it would have been perfect, but as others have said, the Networks back then wanted nothing to do with WCW. At least when WWE brought ECW back as a brand, about 70% of the roster were original ECW guys until they started fading out the originals to make it into a breeding ground for young guys and a place for veterans like Goldust and Christian to be refreshed if that made sense.

Not saying I would like the brand split back, but this could work if it were brought back. Reminds me a little of when Bischoff and Stephanie were the GMs and they had a war over stealing guys from each other's brands.

or how about just make Smackdown interesting again by not recycling matches from RAW / repeating the same matches on Raw the next week actually give us NEW storylines on that show only with superstars you don't get to see wrestle 5 times a week
eric bischoff proved a LONG time ago he has no business running or working for a wrestling company

I'd prefer Smackdown to be replaced by NXT personally; move some of the main roster down there, make it two hours, and turn it into a second brand similar to what Smackdown used to be. Stretching the main roster across 7+ hours of television every week just isn't working that well IMO.

At one time... sure. But I think that ship sailed long ago. wCw has no name value in today's wrestling world. That sadly is very true, hell even back when Vince first bought WCW he was toying with the idea of making WCW its on show from what I understand and the networks even back then wanted nothing to do with it....
