When the movie came out he was already in the WWE. So that makes him the only wwe contracted performer in a WCW project. So did they give him the ok to do the movie.

Where's Moppy? based on the brutus beefcake shoot, i can only assume that gimmick was a pat patterson creation. coincidentally enough i just finished watching ready 3 rumble a few days ago. that four way headbutt is actually pretty sick, albeit dangerous.

-- I was in the crowd, for the triple cage scene (filmed May 2000). And until this thread, it hadn't even come to mind that Saturn was in the WWF at the time that scene was filmed. That's actually a very good question, whether he was given the 'ok' or not, or what the circumstances were for him to film his parts after defecting to the WWF.

God I love ready to rumble. As said above the four person splash is dangerous but I wish it could happen in WWE today. It would be awesome

Do you mean that you went to the WCW PPV that had the triple threat with Jarrett, DDP and David Arquette?

Do you mean that you went to the WCW PPV that had the triple threat with Jarrett, DDP and David Arquette? -- No, it was my bad memory, you're right, it came out in April... It premiered at the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd., they set up a ring right in the middle of the street and had Vampiro vs. The Wall (I remember it being exactly 1 week before the Russo/Ferrara debut NITRO). After the premier, Goldberg, Sting, and Page (along with Arquette) did a in-ring promo - when Jeff Jarrett crashed the promo and laid out Arquette with a guitar shot before being chased outta there by Sting, Goldberg and Page. The triple cage scene was in March, not May (again, my bad memory). But still, Saturn was in the WWF at the time, yet he was in that scene too. The day that scene was filmed, was a Saturday, got to the L.A. Olympic Auditorium that morning, picked a decent spot to sit in (it was free to the public, but all the floor seats were taken and I was lead to the bleacher chairs once inside the actual arena). The filming lasting a good 10hrs, several WCW guys would come out every so often and toss Tshirts into the crowd or film their spots. Michael Buffer did his "We are, Ready to Rumble" line 37 times (and I know because I kept count) and to this day, when I hear him on that Progressive commercial doing that, I think of how annoying it got to be after the first 15 takes from him yelling that into the mic. Half way into the day, all of us in attendence were treated with a soda and 2 slices of Dominos (there wasn't any concession stands open). The crowd popped the loudest for Sting's bit they filmed, where he kicks Page off the top portion of the cage. Some of the fans were wearing the Jimmy King crowns and waving the pendents and I wanted to get my hands on'em for suvi's, but they must've been given out or something since there was no merch table or anything either. I did get to make my way down to ringside and meet Shane Helms (who was virtually an unknown at that time, some of the kids around us commented that he was dressed just like the Hardy Boyz - and he was, same style shirt and pants they wore at that time). And once it was all over, it was just like any other real event, fans exited as they usually do. The Arquette motorcycle scene must've been computer enhanced because nobody crashed through the cage door nor was there even a motorcycle present that day, unless they filmed that part the day before or day after (who knows).
