TNA should let some guys go, no denying that, but with Spike's money, they've made a lot of idiotic financial choices as well. They abused their spot and pretty much alienated their core fanbase. TNA can go to a lot of places at this point. MTV or MTV2 is my prediction here. LL:USA and WSX didn't fare too well on MTV. TNA is much bigger and has way more appeal then those two promotions.

Holy crap, this is insane. I feel bad for the boys in the back like Roode, Hardy, Aries, ETC. But its been a long time coming, TNA is kind of to blame with this one.
That being said, hopefully they can find a new home.

Whoever is celebrating the news, you. I'm actually not. I just thought the Vince picture was needed. It hurts wrestling as a whole.

Very shocking to hear the news. Hopefully TNA can manage to get a TV deal with another promotion. Didn't AMC wanted to deal WWE, but WWE refused a while ago?
Edit: IF TNA goes under I'm pretty sure the wrestlers will jump shift to Jarrett's GWF company and some will go back to WWE.

TNA is much bigger and has way more appeal then those two promotions. MTV is Viacom and Spike is Viacom. So I still don't see it. Well Viacom simply oversees everything, I don't think this decision was Viacom's. I think TNA will make it to MTV, but on a graveyard slot. They really deserved everything they had coming.

If true and TNA cannot secure a new legit tv deal, meaning not a syndicated deal like ROH, then this will serve as the final nail in the coffin. They HAVE to have television.

I'm happy about this. Get all of the talented guys off that damn sinking ship.
Yup, I'm celebrating Spike being tired of the awful booking TNA has fed it's fans for half of a decade. About damn time.

Not to come in and bash TNA. But I saw this coming any day now. I've loved them since 2004 on Fox sports network but haven't been interested in their product for my longest personal longest streak since then. It's just fallen apart. It's time for them to go. Bye TNA. It's been real.

This ing blows, but they put themselves in this spot. It's even worse since we finally got the 6-sides back, and the company SEEMED to be going in a better direction. Honestly, if they can't find another TV deal ASAP, I can very well see this being it for TNA. Dixie, Hogan, and Bischoff ing killed this company, and I completely detest that they were ever involived with TNA.

While the mid 2000's were TNA's peak years.

TNA Wrestling's flagship show "Impact Wrestling" could soon be without a home -- Spike TV quietly let the league know it's not renewing their TV contract … TMZ has learned. Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the deal ... tell us Spike execs contacted TNA President Dixie Carter this week to break the news -- and the following day Carter informed members of her inner circle. TNA's current deal with Spike reportedly runs through October. It's unclear at this point when "Impact Wrestling" will stop airing on Spike. We're told there's no bad blood, and Spike gave TNA such advance notice so it would have time to shop for a new TV deal. TNA's show debuted on Spike TV in October 2005 -- and helped the league rise to #2 on the wrestling scene … behind the WWE. We've called TNA and Spike for comment ... so far, no word back. www.tmz.com/2014/07/27/impact-wrestling-cancelled-spike-tv-tna/

This is surprising...and yet not too surprising. TNA really ed up over the past few years and they really missed a number of opportunities to establish itself is a true alternative to the WWE. Instead, they tried directly competing with the WWE (and failed miserably) and they struggled with their identity as an organization.
