I haven't followed TNA in full since the summer of 2012, and before that I stopped watching in 2010 when Hardy won the title, but I never wanted to see the company close down. If this is true, at least some of these guys should be getting picked up by GFW later this year.

After the Summer of 2012, I soured on TNA massively. I rarely watch nowadays, though I sometimes will primarily for EC3 and Spud. However, despite the constant sh*t that I give the company, I've never wanted to see TNA die. It'll be a shame if this is the end.

As I said in Banter, I think this will be a good thing in the long run. TNA won't die out. They're backed by Panda Energy, and I think this is going to push the competitive drive within the company. Hopefully this will be the realization, and they end up improving their product. Spike wants to make a deal with the WWE. And with TNA putting crap out for the past 2-3 years, they deserved this. But I know TNA will bounce back. They'll improve.

Any hear the rumors about it being because of Russo lmao.
Really hope this isn't true though. Anybody who routes for the end of iMPACT Wrestling should not call themselves a wrestling fan. How anyone can want people to lose their jobs and want an alternative to disappear is simply head shaking.

No channel in another country (or in the US) will give them what Spike gave them.

The only thing keeping TNA from being an indy promotion is their TV deal.

Sure Spike did give them a wide audience, but they can settle with just about any network at this point. TNA deserve to be in the pit they're in now, but they aren't going anywhere. And they'll sign a TV deal easily, what network wouldn't want to cash in on TNA? They can make back money easily. Get rid of a few scrubby contracts, and lower some of the production values. TNA isn't going anywhere.

And if WWE can't get a much better rights fee then TNA definitely won't get anything. It's not just the audience that Spike gave them, it's the financial support. Many of the top wrestlers in TNA would not be there without the money from Spike.

TNA should let some guys go, no denying that, but with Spike's money, they've made a lot of idiotic financial choices as well. They abused their spot and pretty much alienated their core fanbase. TNA can go to a lot of places at this point. MTV or MTV2 is my prediction here.
